If not the one of the best sets, it's certainly one of the most influential. Pretty much until CCBS entered the fray, this was what a MOC should look like. Have details, but also be able to move and do cool stuff. Many late 2000s and early 2010s MOCs had this kind of aesthetic not just because of the era of parts, but Hydraxon just had a certain fullness that builders strived to give their MOCs.

4:45 I'd venture to say that these 3A hand connector parts are still, to this day, _the_ best model for 3A hand connectors that Lego's ever put out. Their figure is sleak and not too bulky (unlike the CCBS hand connectors, and the relatively recent post-CCBS new model), they're really durable (unlike the post-2007 Bionicle model), and the little divots on the sides are actually suitable connection points for system studs.

Hydraxon was the definitive villain build. A fantastic set that I sadly never got! He was one of the key inspirations for Xplode as “the Warrior” in Ehlistar’s Wrath (yes- THAT iconic new villain I’m trying to make canon in the fanon) It was awesome that he was the first to use an advanced hand design! And inspired me to evolve the design to the point where the entire hand is strictly system 🖐️😮‍💨

A big favourite of mine and the sole collection of fingers I used for subsequent mocs for a long time, until I eventually got more from other sets.

I thought Maxilos was the best, due to all the points of articulation that build has. Granted, Hydraxon do be having those Exo-Force 4 fingered hands, which most mocist emulate to this day.

I use the right angle piece alot but now I need more of em coz I ran out, anyone remember what the parts called? Its got a Stud slot on the end if ur unsure which part I mean
