My Macbook air M1 doesn't even recognise the C920 when plugged in. How is it that yours seems to just pick it up? The C920 not working on the M1 chip appears to be a significant issue. Did you do anything additional to get it to recognise the camera?

I did not do anything other than just plug it in. Are you sure your adapter works or are you sure your C920 works ?

Why is it that everytime I would like to download an application to my macbook air I can never open the app because I keep getting "this accessory is not supported by mac"? Do you have any recommendations on how to fix this or recommend any other applications?

Hello! My question is how do I mirror the camera (the build in one) on Macbook Air? Any ideas? I teach and I need to write on a whiteboard, but the writing appears backwards.. Can it be mirrored using OBS? I don't particularly want to install that, but if it's really needed, then I'll give it a try... Thanks a lot!

Great video, but lemme ask a question, please: my c920 its lagging a lot on the m1… do you have some idea to solve it?

Are you using the same or a similar setup as the one in this video? When you say lagging is that just while viewing or the actual recording is lagging? Last question, did you adjust the video settings in the OBS application and the actual webcam setting under properties?

Hi, My external webcam is working same Logitech. But my cam quality is dull. Looks like it has some dark filter. Which is worse than a MacBook camera. I'm facing this issue on connecting this cam only with mac. If you can, pls help me out of this.

Also a MacBook Air M1. But OBS keeps giving me a dark screen. I have gone to Settings, (Ventura 13.1) Privacy, Screen Recording and enabled OBS. Still only a black screen and no option to select Display Capture. Any advice would be Greatly appreciated.

I haven't had this issue before. I'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling OBS. When you say you can't select Display Capture is that while you are adding it as a source to a scene or something eles?

@@AliyesDell Aliyes, OBS is not consistent. Now I have multiple screen shots whether or not I choose Video Capture and Display Capture. Sometimes I go to Privacy-Screen Recording and select OBS and still a black screen. My only option is to use Photo Booth. But I would really like to use OBS. It is a great third party software. Your thoughts?

I don't use Zoom so I can't say yes from experience but I can't imagine why it would not. I've heard others say yes it does.

Hi! I have a macbook air 2017, i dont have the software you said to download, but i can record on quicktime player. My issue is there is a little lagging every couple of seconds in the recording. Any tips!?

Are you using the C920 on your Macbook air? Depending on the specs of yours it might not be able to run recording if you're doing anything else while recording. Hope this helps and thanks for the comment!

I bought this trash webcam but it doesn't work. Could be my adapter but my C270 works using my adapter. I will try and return it I hope I get my money back for this garbage

@@AliyesDell They said that C920 won't work with MacBook Pro M1 because it only has USB-C, I am ordering their latest webcam that supports USB-C, this camera was a straight disaster for me
