@@PrimalVideo I assume this works as well for direct-to-drive recording. Seems like this would save a lot of time versus filming on an SD card and uploading afterward. I find watching myself on the little LCD does not give me an accurate sense of the picture. Being able to see myself on the full screen could save valuable time. Is this how you shoot your vids? Or do you transfer from SD to your computer afterward?
You guys are fantastic. Always such useful and helpful videos. I have never come across a video of yours that was clickbait. Almost everyone on RU-vid gets lazy and tries that but you've never disappointed. Keep it up. I'm still learning and haven't started my channel but when it starts it will be largely due to your assistance. Here is an idea for a video: "What equipment I would use if I started today". The biggest decision facing most people starting is the equipment but things move on so quickly it's hard to know what's good for this minute.
Exactly what I’ve been looking for, just downloaded the canon software to try this out before this video popped up, so pleased to be on the right track. Good to know abOut the audio delay.
When looking to see if a camera has clean HDMI output, you need to look for PC output, because even if a camera states that it does not have clean HDMI output, that's only for a standard TV/monitor. For example, Sony HDR-CX405 doesn't have it when connected to a TV/monitor, but it has it when connected to a PC via a 4k capture card. Menus will still appear on the PC when you change settings on the camera.
DSLR does work great and the picture quality is incredible - right up to the point the DSLR shuts off with a work around not to be had. Even with Magic Lantern software! I have 2 X Canon T2i, 2 X Canon T3i, and a Canon 2 X G7x MKII. I live stream frequently and the DSLR will shut off. Up to 30 minutes, no problem. A DSLR does look great and it is a viable option for short streams. Or if you simply record segments and then edit in post like DaVinci. I use a Blackmagic ATEM Extreme ISO Pro and yes I use all 6 DSLR and then 2 screen captures. But for a long show, I have to scale back to 3 Logitech webcams with 1 screen capture with OBS.
They do have power adapters that eliminates the battery all together which allows for continuous use. Google it and you'll find the one for your camera. Good Luck
Thank you for this tutorial. I find it more interesting than others out there. You speak fast but legibly and the topics are well organized and the visual aids are astounding and very helpful. New subscriber here!
I did live stream once and the webcam quality was horrible. Like i looked really ugly so I had to eventually make the video private. So this would be super helpful!!!!🔥🔥
Wow 😮 amazing good evening watching from Philippines 🇵🇭 me I can’t make live streaming because my camera is not good 😔 I really love that camera ♥️ hope I have opportunity to use that 🙏
Since im learning media in my new school i got the idea that i could stream any event that is being hosted with one of the video cams and connect it with a beefier laptop so that ppl can see it from home and stuff, now that i know it's possible to make im gonna ask my teacher about this
Justin, THANK YOU for your super-effective trainings!! Question: Using a 1080p capture card vs a 4k card...would going up to 4k make a difference at the viewer end? I'm using a JVC 4k videocam when I livestream. Have used a 1080p capture card, but now the price on a 4k version is so inexpensive. But would my viewers need 4k viewing ability to make a visible difference? THanks for any feedback!
Even if you’re broadcasting in 4k, it’s likely most of your viewers would be 720p or 1080p so it may be unnecessary. If you want to record high quality into your computer then that’s where the 4k can be handy right now
Thanks Justin. You are very easy to understand. I appreciate that. Do you have a video where you show how to put those cool overlays of you walking onto the screen and pointing to the like button? If that is a trade secret, I totally respect that. Thanks.
You're welcome - glad you liked it. We dont have a tutorial video for that yet. Basically, I recorded myself on a greenscreen and then added the clips on my software editor. 😊
Hi Justin, I'm going to be filming a music video that the artist wants live streamed. Are there any suggestions on how I can accomplish this? I'd need a mic but there is an audio track that would be played live as well. Can you please give some insight? Thank you!
For remote directing, can most 4K video cameras record (to an onboard storage medium) and stream 1080p at the same time? The streaming software would be EVMux.
@@PrimalVideo Hi, I'm a big fan of yours! I had watched all your videos in the channel! I love your Video editing tips & tricks alottt! I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro now, so I have asked for tips & tricks of video editing in it. It was really amazing to read the full video editing guide pdf in your website! It was really amazing. I'm your greatttt fan! I'm eagerly waiting for your future videos! Thank you so much! You are doing great!!! ❤️
Which program should I use so clients have private direct link not to go through RU-vid, and which one will be best for weddings and do I have use internet at church & reception, I’m from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
, Love your Videos. How can I Live stream from a camcorder to my smart TV? I want to record and live stream in one room and have it play on a tv upstairs
Thank you for the wonderful video. I wanted to ask, when you stream with cameras that have a 30-minute video recording limit, does this limit also apply to the stream?
No it doesn't because it's linked to your computer which displays and records the video and audio. Would need to have a power adapter instead of a battery for continuous use.
Hi Justin, Great video and intelligent channel, can I ask you if Panasonic Camcorder HC-V180 can be used as webcam? I want to connect it to my ATEM Mini Pro. Cheers
Hi. I have a small doubt. I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro now for Video editing. I've heard about davinci resolve free software for video editing too. But I don't know much about that software and I'm confused. Would you please recommend which of these two is better for video editing purposes? You have uploaded many videos recommending so many video editing softwares! I would like to hear from you!
This works if my cameras are near my computers. What happens if my camera needs to be mobile...capturing e events from multi locations? What other accessories would I need?
Thanks Jake! For the RU-vid video? We edit with Final Cut currently but you could do this in most editing software. But if you mean to make an intro for your Livestream, then we use Placeit 👍
Hello Justin. I'm looking to add animation to Title and End clips. Do you have a suggestion as to what programs are available downloadable free or at low cost for PC/Windows? Thank you for your help.
Have you had a look at placeit? They have very low cost intros and end cards for your videos. We have a video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T8IcC45LRnI.html
Thanks for this information! I have the Panasonic GH5 with the latest firmware. I just installed the LUMIX Webcam Software on my iMac (with MacOS 10.15 Catalina), and it works great when I choose it as my video source in the Zoom Preferences. However, I thought I could also control some camera settings from within LUMIX Webcam Software? After installing and restarting, the software is nowhere to be found, not in the Applications folder and nowhere else. Is it only a resource, like a plugin? How then can I control the camera?
How do you live stream on a camcorder, when you are out and about away from home ? What accessories do you need for a reliable wi-fi connection which can work anywhere?
