I must be doing something right. :) Been using this tool for about a year and it is great. Not in the way that you guys have, so that's an excellent idea for me to try.
Shane, I don't know how long I've been following you. It's safe to say that I've been following you since you first got online. I open every one of your emails. Why? Because I know that it's going to be value-driven and this was long before COVID-19. You are perhaps one of two emails that I look forward to each week and I get a lot of emails. You are one of those guys that fly under the radar. If more people knew how thought-provoking you were they would be all up in your Kool-Aid without even knowing the flavor (that may not have gone over too well...it's an American thing)..I believe you are a fan of Simon Sinek. If not, he has a new book out called the Infinite Game and there's something you mention in your video reminds that me of one of something he talks about called "prepare for existential flexibility" this refers to being able to make a 180-degree turn in your company to either take advantage of new technology or deal with a completely changed environment. You are master at this as you have demonstrated how you using Loom to effectively manage the different timezones of your team. In fact, you've given me some ideas on how I can use this technology when reaching out to restaurants. Man, my head is spinning right now. In conclusion, are you familiar with the story about the tortoise and the hare? You are definitely the tortoise. You are slow, methodical, but deadly ...and you win the race. Thanks again Shane.
Thank you so much, Rick! Funnily enough, just yesterday I recorded a video about how people like you (long time followers, true fans, people who "get it") are and always have been the backbone of my business. The video is for the course I'm working on. Can I use this comment to make a point about what I mean by building an audience of people who really get it? I haven't read any of Simon's books yet, but I've enjoyed some of his talks including one about the infinite game. And his "start with why" idea is also something I fully implemented in putting together this new team. Thank you for your support, Rick. Virtual high five
Oh yeah. I love Loom. Use it all the time to send short videos to potential customers. Also to film what's going wrong to send to support staff andalso to record course lessons. :-) Very cute video you guys made. :-D Had been wondering how your project's going.
Hey Ann! It's a great little tool, yes! Mostly the way it enables this remote communication style while being super easy to use. It's really upgraded our team.
Took your excellent recommendation and tried Loom. Thank you! Now wondering how soon will you'll be adding support for Loom to Thrive Architect Video module?
@@ActiveGrowth Yes!!!! : ). Think about it... Your team loves Loom, and from watching your video, I now use and love Loom. So it makes great sense to have it as an option within Thrive. Maybe like youtube where you just past in the link, or maybe an option for adding HTML embed code in the module. Either way, would be awesome to have Loom combined with your sticky video, frames, and other amazing Thrive settings. Although I also love RU-vid, in most case, it's the wrong chose. As you know, a home page, or landing page is about creating focus. Seeing "related videos" is a distractor. Thrive Loom support... for the right reasons. ; ). Thank you again!
