What do you think of Valkyrie, is she good? I will no longer be updating this comment since the video is 18+ Months old. Note that legends rarely go through big changes and this guide will be viable for a long time. She has some legend upgrades now which are not in this video. Changes Since The Launch of This Video: Season 20: Now she has some legend upgrades. Season 17: None Season 16: No Legend changes. She is now a skirmisher legend meaning she can see what is in care packages before they hit the ground. She is no longer a recon legend. Season 15: None Season 14: *VTOL Jets* Acceleration on activation decreased by about 8%. Fuel consumption on activation increased by 33%. Aerial boosting & strafing take a 20% debuff when hit by slowing effects. Added a third orange state to the fuel meter UI between green (>60%) and red ( 2.0s. Reducing the explosion radius from 175 -> 125. Skyward Dive Height reduction of 25%. Launch time reduced from 5.5s -> 5.0s. Coupled with the height reduction, players in Valk ult now travel upward at a slightly slower speed.

just to note in season 14 i think valk will be an assault class rather than recon so she can no longer scan beacons and fly away with her ult in the next ring. It's kinda busted so it's getting changed.

Valk main here: if possible, do a recon scan before using her ult. More often than not you'll be first to arrive on the next ring and this will help you setup ambush points which can guarantee a top 5 finish.

Valk is my main and on controller I absolutely prefer PRESS and not hold. With hold I can't change direction well, look around and do complex movements.

Which is why I’ve changed my whole button layout to work around her alone, making my jump L2 and tactical R2. To be able to change directions mid flight with hold, and fly if needed to shoot her rockets :)

I use console, so when using her jetpack I find it much easier with it being set to press rather than hold. Unless I have 2 thumbs on one hand I can't really look around when using jets set to hold

Is Valkyrie an easy character to play? And if not, who would you recommend for a beginner who wants to play aggressive but does something for the team so they’re not useless

Idk, but I main Vantage, and I find that you can be pretty aggressive with her with her tact and imo she's not too hard to get the hang of. Her passive can be useful for the team, being able to tell everyone what shields the enemy has. Plus it's always nice having that guaranteed sniper in case you can't push or something 🤷‍♂️

Does anyone have an opinion on the toggle/hold? I use toggle because then I can still use the stick to move but when I switch L1 to jump then I can't aim my tactical? Any input plzzz

Quick question, does putting the jet pack on hold to use will that make it easier to walk jump because I am somewhat of movement layer as I just mad the switch from wraith to Valkyrie

It won't really make it easier to wall jump on her, unfortunately. That setting is usually set to hold simply because most people find it more comfortable to use her Jets for flight like that. Wall jumping and b-hopping on Valk needs to have more precise inputs compared to other legends, but they are absolutely achievable on her, and once you get the feel for the unique timing you need on her you can become quite consistent with them. It just takes a bit of practice.

Just last season for masters. Probably add a longer timer on her ultimate. Also maybe a longer initial charge time

@AndyBeThyNameth true, but you shouldn't really play on default settings. As what really matters is your shot. Everyone should be on button puncher or evolved and the jetpack isn't a factor if doing this

the amount of trolls that demand a nerf to valk for the next season is extremely disgusting, she is well balanced but they do this with malice, or just to annoy, they did the same with Horizon and it ended up being very weak, now they want to do the same with valk. these people did not say this 4 seasons before, now suddenly they are doing it, it's all to annoy and confuse

? Lemme just say this path basically has no passive his passive is very weak. Valk has 2 passives and a can scan recon beacons. She can also rotate to anywhere she wants with her ult.
