It is, however, remember the supply register will throw the air clear across the room without recirculating into that return. That system actually works exceedingly well for air circulation, and particulate removal.
One of us textbooks out there is Refrigeration air conditioning technology. It’s written by Johnson Whitman. It has a section on chillers, but it is not a dedicated chiller book. The rest of the information would almost always from manufacturers.
I’m a fan. I have one in my house and have one at the office. It’s super quiet in the cooling mode and super efficient. Heating wise it’s a little bit noisier, but it does a great job. Heating the house all the way down to 15°.
Yes, we sure can, but the manufactures don’t provide a ton of information on performance. The best thing to do is air side measurements at the heads or air handlers.
