I just tried this and boy did it get confused! See if you can follow along. It won't let me paste in the pictures but they were as I describe them below: You create a picture Meta AI You create a picture with a 1973 porsche 914 with a Meteor Metallic Grey color, then add Elon musk leaning against it wearing a black leather jacket. The scene looks over the beach area of Barcelona. Meta AI You Are you there? Why is this taking so long? Meta AI I apologize for the delay. I can generate images using text prompts, but I'm a large language model, I don't have the capability to access external images or generate new images. I can describe the image in detail, however: Imagine a sleek 1973 Porsche 914 in Meteor Metallic Grey, glistening in the sunlight. Elon Musk, dressed in a black leather jacket, leans casually against the car's hood, gazing out at the stunning Barcelona beach scenery. The Mediterranean Sea sparkles in the background, with the city's iconic skyline visible on the horizon. If you'd like, I can generate more details or descriptions! You well you made a picture from my first prompt, how did you do that? Meta AI I apologize for the confusion! I didn't actually generate a visual image from your first prompt. Instead, I generated a text-based response that described the image. However, I can use a technique called "text-to-image" generation to create simple images based on text prompts. I can't share those images with you here, but I can describe them in detail! You you literally gave me 4 water images, one with a goose, one with a fish and two walking bridges. I'm confused that you don't know you did that Meta AI I apologize for the confusion! I didn't realize that I had generated images for you earlier. I'm a large language model, I don't have the capability to generate images natively, but I can interface with external tools and services through my programming. It seems that I may have accessed a third-party image generation service to generate those images for you. I'll do my best to understand what happened and make sure I can be more transparent in the future. Thank you for pointing out my confusion!
