May the Lord continue to richly bless my friend. I’ve had our 2010 Ford Edge limited for over 6 months and had not been able to get this to work. Your video was just like the doctor ordered
I wanted to thank you for a very informative video. I had spent about 30 minutes using the Sync manual included in my vehicle with no avail. I couldn't pair my phone. I decided to good through RU-vid and after viewing numerous videos, yours was the best. After I followed it, lo and behold, the phone paired. Thank you so much.
When I press the phone button the console doesn't say no phone and it doesn't do anything. I also tried the media and aux buttons, none of them work, can you help me I have the same radio as you but it's a single cd changer. It's a 2016 F-450
It took me a little bit to figure out how to get Pandora or Spotify to play through my Iphone but it can be done. I read a lot of comments asking how to do it. You must sync your phone first like shown in this video then: Press menu Press Right Seek button two times Find Select source then press #6/Ok Press seek once until BT Audio is on the screen then hit Ok/#6.
Hey I really need your help I have a 2011 Ford Expedition and for some reason everything looks the same but I have a single disc CD and I don't have those set up buttons and stuff right above it to the left and I don't have the steering wheel buttons I don't know why mine is different I can't figure out how to get the phone linked is there a way to do it from just the CD player dash
Sync is junk. My sync option disappears on my 2016 F260. I press aux and that is all I get, aux. Once when I pressed the talk button the truck talked backed asking for a command. I said Bluetooth and it complied. Then nothing. Sync gone again. The 2015 F250 sync worked sometimes. I had to reboot sync many times over the 3 years I had that truck. Cant even get to sync to reboot menu on the 2016. Once I did but thats it.
I have a 08 ford fusion. And same radio as u .on my stearing wheel it does not have voice. It has resume set up set down on and off volume up down then media.
Thanks I have that very radio in my 2013 and the Owners manual is unhelpful. I wonder if I plug my refurbished iPod Mini into the USB can I access the music library?
2023, October: currently trying to pair my iPhone 11 to a 2010 Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer. Can find SYNC in my Bluetooth list, but the pin prompt does not appear on my phone to input SYNC pin.
Maybe someone can answer this. I have a 2014 F450 with that same stereo deck. When I connect my IPhone to USB and go to aux, the display stays on “Synx line in” and never goes to “Sync USB”. Any ideas? I know the port works because my phone charges and the phone stops playing music through it’s speaker when connected via USB, but no music comes from the truck and the display stays on Line In.
I ended up pairing through bluetooth then going into the media menu to select my phone as the media input, then it detected the USB connection and would show Sync USB.
I’m trying to connect my phone to my radio but when I click the botton with the phone icon it just says “no phone” and then goes away it doesn’t give me an option to pair/ doesn’t load anything. I’m not sure what to do,
I have the S8 and I synced it to my 2009 ford explorer. I tried playing music and it didn't work. It did work when the phone rings. Do you know what I can do for it to work? Thank you.
Hello, I have set up the BT on my Galaxy S6 Edge with my 2008 Ford Taurus-X. I can make and receive calls with no problem, but it will not read aloud my text messages, or alert me when I have a message. When it requests to download my messages, it doesn't see any messages at all. It will not play my music through the speakers in the car also. I have done a master reset, and also reset the BT connection on my phone. It worked before I got the S6 edge, do you think that my phone is the problem? Thanks
When you are adding a phone it looks like you were pressing additional buttons but didn't explain it. For some reason it doesn't seem to be finding my phone.
I have a 2010 Ford Expedition and I cannot get the sync to work. I press the phone button and it says no phone found but it does not give me the prompt to ad phone.
How do you play music via bluetooth? I have a 2011 F350, and managed to play music through the bluetooth, but then when I tried to recreate it, I forgot what setting I changed to make it work. Please help! Thanks!
Greeting. I have tried but I only get No phone. By no means does it want to recognize my iphone 8 plus. My expedition is 2010 and the same radio. Please help.
I don’t know if it’s just my car. But there is a phone in here from another person that I made and I cannot get it to delete the phone so I can add mine
Hello Ted I have 2009 Mercury sable and I'm trying to play music off my phone is it a way to do is via Bluetooth or do I have to use USB ,I have my phone sync but it won't play my Spotify
Hey I just figured it out this morning if you still haven't, you have to go to aux and then hit menu till you get to media, then you enter the media menu and cycle through that until you get to the bt music selection I think, and then you just pick your phone. Idk if this makes any sense but I hope it helps lol
I need help: change the battery of my truck and no longer works the auxiliary or usb entry, someone knows how it could be fixed, is an explorer eddie bauer 2008
Does anyone know if the USB functions the same with an app that plays music? We're in 2024 now and IDK if my 2011 Expedition is compatible with my Galaxy S21
Mine has the same setup but it doesn’t work the same. When I push the phone button it says audio off. When I press it again it just turns the sound back on.

Can you make a video showing how to play music from your phone. I plug it in the usb and hit play but I can’t hear anything. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I can’t get it figured out.
Lorenzo Simmons I'm having the same issue. I've been all over the internet looking for a solution. Even the people in the ford explorer forum don't get it. Now that's some dumb shit. If you find out, share please. #ONE
I've found that after pairing phone and setting it as primary, I'm only able to play music off my phone/RU-vid is to use the auxiliary cord and have it on sync line in. my phonebook wasnt programmed into sync though j was never asked even after going through the process several times. I decided that I'd I couldn't get it to work I was driving my butt back to pilsons and having them help me lol.
