Today we will be showing you how to use a USB memory stick to update the BIOS on the MSI B650 Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard.
It is a pretty easy thing to do, but you have to do it right!
I'll walk you through the process of finding and downloading the BIOS file, preparing the USB stick and how to use the BIOS flashback button.
Also some useful fault finding tips and tricks we have picked up over the years.

Appreciate the quality info, and offering more help than MSI themselves care to. Still ... no success for me, trying a few dozen times and variants, over 4-6 hours. Could be on account of trying to partition the thumb drives (multiple) from Linux (parted; mkfs; KDE Partition Manager) ... but I'm not going to very well install Winblows just to write a flash disk. Gave up, guess I'll be avoiding everything MSI in the future.

Hello sir, I buy a new pc with Ryzen 7 7800X3D, MSI B650 Gaming Plus WiFi, 3070, New SSD and when I try to start the pc I have a blackscreen like nothing not even the bios basic. So I decide to install the last bios try 3 seconds but didn’t work like the video didn’t flash several times and windows 10 tools but is not working at all or maybe I needed to remove all the components and put only the motherboard aside for the bios working? Do u have a solution please? Thanks

I have this motherboard, is it normal when i boot my pc the leds on motherboard turn on like they turn on on the video? After my pc boot they turn off and my pc works fine.

yes that is like a diagnostic check list, it should cycle through them and as they pass the next light illuminates etc until just after the POST process and then they should all got off when windows has booted

@@mikesunboxing hiii sir, my CMOS battery needed to reset, secondly when I bought the windows 11 pro USB, it got corrupted while installing ( stuck at 34%) So I just used an old usd SanDisk and used media creation and installed windows 11 pro without activation, later installed all drivers, MSI center, and then activated using the original key I bought. Worked like a charm. 💯🙏 Your vids helped me to build my first pc ever

it is really but the process is mechanically or electrically using the same feature, just another way of doing it

@@mikesunboxing ahhh. One more question. When trying to update bios and after downloading the extracted zip on my 32gb usb. It doesn't show anything on the drive when in bios m-flash. Any thoughts?
