Thank you very much for sharing this simple and easy way to using NVivo. I have watched several tutorials and this one video is by far the easiest and simplest. This brings to mind Albert Einstein's quote, "If you cannot explain it to an eighth grader, you really do not understand it."
Well done! Extremely easy to follow and your suggestions offer a phenomenal way of organizing lots of data. I am encouraged for the FIRST time ever to use qualitative data software. Thank you for the care you took in bringing your audience along through simple steps. You are the best, and I will follow more of your tutorials! :)
What a helpful video, thank you so much! One question I have that I haven't found a definitive answer for in the literature is this and I wanted to ask your perspective please: I have transcripts of the interviews I will upload. Before I do so, I know I can eliminate filler words. Should I keep my own questions and comments? I know the goal is to get the themes from the respondents and I didn't know if I should eliminate my questions so that the analysis is only focused on their words.
So wait, don’t get me wrong this is helpful, but my understanding is that we’d have to basically create codes and or basically create the themes and then create that in the “Nodes” section and then find stuff that fits in with that? Isn’t that kinda backwards of what we are trying to do?
Ma'am can I use interviews of top business leaders and then prepare transcriptions or the interviews had to be first taken by mean and then go for transcriptions?
this nvivo is such a waste of time man wtf you can literally organize those per questions I just wasted so much time thinking it could do something special for me
