LOLOL - I was thinking the same thing! (but I DO like that ending!! "Hope that's short enough for you fucking, complainy bitches!!" LOLOL It's wasn't sir... )
Thank you. You saved my Thanksgiving! My can opener broke and this was in my drawer from my grandparents. Hadn't a clue had to you it. Thanks again, Brenda
The ending makes me want to find the long one. Maybe I'll just complain that this one isn't long enough. What's crazy is...it took nearly forever to even find this one video showing how this type of can opener is used to actually OPEN A CAN. So, thanks for your response to the complainers with the making of this tutorial, thereby providing the means in which to feed myself at least for this one night.
I love that tidbit at the end lol you ain't lying though people complain about how long you are trying to educate but yet they are coming to you for information
This is precisely what I wanted to see! I loved the video. And you look like you are left handed! We have one of the safety can openers which I just tried to open the dog food with and, as always, I couldn't get it to work properly. It just open in spots. Normally I am not mechanically inept but... this one defeates me. So now I am glad to find your video for this can opener! Thank you.
That was awesome thank you. It's funny that people are complaining that your other one was to long. People then fast forward, you are getting something for free.
Thanks, haven't seen the other video, but really hate the newer can openers. Had a penknife one I used for 20 years then thought I'd try something new.
Lol... My question is, what is the smaller hook on the opposite side of the can opener hook? I have something very similar and can only guess that the smaller side is a bottle top opener?? 🤔
I wonder how often in the past people have been injured using these and other style can-openers. Makes me realize WHY we have the relatively painless ones we do...
Makes a short video to show how to use a tin opener because the other version was too long... Wastes nearly 40 seconds telling us about another video that's too long. #gofig ;)
You began to open the can just like my mother who also had no idea how "Leverage" works. Bang the hell out of it till you bruise your palm. Put the blade on the inside of the rim and use the backside of the block part to leverage the blade into the can for the initial piercing.
first video I've seen that actually uses the rim of the can to pull the cutter off to the edge, everyone else worms it along the inside leaving a jagged lip about 1/8th or 1/4" of the lid
I guess in the old John Wayne movie, when he said, "Fill your hands you son of a bitches!!!!" ~ He was referring to the old style can openers. [They must not have carried Swiss Army Knives, when riding the Owl Hoot Trail.]
Thank you so much, I just bought the one with the corkscrew and was like how the f**k do I use this!? Now how do I sharpen it....oh btw I subscribed ☺️
I don't think they need to be really sharp to work but if you have something like a speedy sharp, that might work. I also have a video on the speedy sharp 😁
Getting awful sick of the knobbed can openers breaking on me all the time, and we have one brand of chili that makes using those hell. I'm getting awful tempted to buy one like this and stop dealing with the bullcrap.
