I have a 120dii, a 60x, and I’m in the market for a 300dii, but perhaps I should reconsider. I found your video as an ad on Instagram man, and I’m happy to say so! 🔔
Just watched the live stream, and we love Aputure lights, we have a dozen of them, but we thought this "launch" was pretty disappointing. We were hoping for a 300 Mark 3 or a 300 replacement. 1200X, literally anything else haha
Lowkey kinda felt that way too, like it didn’t need that much hype around it with the silhouetted light fixture that made you guess. I think it’s fine now cause this company literally released like 4 new amazing products 2 weeks ago. The fact that there was another announcement shocked me cause I’m like what else could it be. I like the fact that they made a more affordable light, I mean great but did it need that hype? eh not really.
Bought this light the other day. It’s my first light. Also I bought an Aputure light dome 150. Do you think it’s too big for it to be my only softbox? Thanks
The light dome 150 is definitely a big one. I'd recommend getting a 6x6 sheet of diffusion or muslin and then you can have that up + the 600d blasting through it for the times you have less space or need to be more versatile
🔥🔥🔥💡 Just added this to my cart lol! On my last studio shoot I had the 300Dii and 120Dii and felt like I either needed to replace the 120 with another 300 or something more. Well here it is lol! Great content. New sub here 🙌🏽💯👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
@@creativegreats6924 No I actually only have a 120 and 300. I was gonna get another 300 to replace 120 but now think 600 would be better. I film in large studios half the time so doesn’t hurt to have more control when needed 😅
Great video! Buying a powerful single source light was one of the best investments I've made in my video career. It opened up so many possibilities for lighting and creating awesome images.
Yes I couldn't agree more! I feel like in the beginning I was always looking for RGB or fancy lights. But nothing is better than just a simple daylight colored light that is powerful. With all the accessories you can mount you will be prepared for any situation
It's a really powerful light! Even for still photography. However if you need to be shooting at very high f stops I would still probably recommend strobes.
You might be a content creator, but this "garbage man" takes care of your dirty content every time he passes by. He deserves better I think. Nice review, seems like an awesome light to invest in.
Absolutely nothing against the garbage man. I appreciate all their hard work each week! I think I was mores just mad at MYSELF for always choosing to film on garbage day 😂
