What the patcher can do in about 6-7 clicks and activations with formulas and controllers you can do other software with a single mapping click. I still love fl studio so when im tryint o get weird with my EF chains, I use Freestyle from New Sonic Arts. Its pretty much patcher without the convoluted workflow. Just plug and play with the same interface as patcher and the control surface is macros. Patcher could be amazing but theres a reason not many people are using it but its the best for chaining FX and routing the signal versus making a whole plugin. Just takes so long to do some very simple wiring. I think fl studio is th eonly DAW that doesnt respect the double click:)

Is it possible..to hace something act as a note on off event creator and have it mapped on lets say lfo so it generates music by itself..with no midi device or keyboard pressing by myself??

Ok. New to patcher. Came across your video trying to find a solution for a control surface I'm trying to create for an old software synth I love. There's no vst for the synth and its no longer supported but will run no worries using midiloop. Linking to knobs effects with cc has been fine. Some of the effects, patterns etc are triggered however by keyboard notes on the keyboard. I simply want to create a button on surface that will trigger the keyboard note that will turn on or turn off that pattern or effect. Seems similar to what your doing. Am I on the write track here. Do I need to use a plugin like envelope controller or similar, or is there a simpler way. Sorry to trouble you.
