Hello Humanoids...
The concept of this video is to show how to use the PCA9685 16-channel 12-bit servo driver.
I have dismantled all the connections of the hash humanoid robot and I replaced the servo driver.
The Adafruit 16-Channel 12-bit PWM/Servo Driver will drive up to 16 servos over I2C with only 2 pins. The on-board PWM controller will drive all 16 channels simultaneously with no additional Arduino processing overhead. What's more, you can chain up to 62 of them to control up to 992 servos - all with the same 2 pins.

Can you show how to get the servo module to work with the ultrasonic sensor I'm currently working on a project that needs these two things but I can't get it to work if you can send your code that would be great

Great job! Can I know what battery you used for the robot? Is it using a power step down module to convert power to 5V for PCA 9685 and Arduino mega broad? Thanks a lot!

No I have used two separate power supplies .servo drive powered by 5v adapter and arduino powered by 12v battery

Im using 12 servo on time but it's working 1mins or 2mins the power is not sufficient to down the power how to rectify im using 5v 2ams power supply arduino given spreate power for arduino

Yes you can use but due to memory limit you can only be able to code few set of movements only

yes, you can use a normal servo but you should design the robot accordingly

You have used 17 servo motors but pca9685 can control only 16 servo motors how did you managed it? Thank you.

I did not use the head servo . If you want you can connect the servo to any one of the digital pins and you can control.

I'm use uno broad too, you can do up to 999 servo with I2C.

This design is for mg995 servo..if you are going to use sg90 then you should design according. Moreover sg90 have less torque so plan accordingly

@@HashRobotics thanks for your promped response, now I noticed you used the adafruit library. Is there another library we can use for this driver module ? I'm looking for a library that can be used similar to arduino servo library or can we use this servo library as well? Obviously using this servo driver instances.

@@HashRobotics I ask because I already wrote a pretty long sketch using arduino servo library and do t really want to have to rewrite the entire sketch adopting this driver library variables if I don't have to.

@@arletpaz8010 Hi .As far i i know Adafruit library is good. If you have already written a long code it is difficult to rewrite. you have to copy and replace carefully. Else check my other videos of mini hash robot. I have reduced the coding part and made servo control easier using Tims servo control software. you can take reference

Based on requirement you can add bluetooth part. After that I'm using esp modules so I can connect through wifi. So I don't need bluetooth module

In a single PCA9685 board you can able to connect only 16 servo motors. so for this, i made the head servo as dummy.I did not connect head servo
