How to Use Phone as Webcam & Mic for PC

If you have audio and not video from phone in the OBS: file-settings-advanced-sources-disable Browser Source Hardware Acceleration

Since it takes audio from your phone through browser. How did you stop the mic/aux to stop recording ? Otherwise it repeats the same thing twice. Which is really annoying and why didn't you mention it in the video?

Great tips A question and an observation. My question has to do with portrait versus landscape video mode. You showed the parameters and then the result showed a landscape view. Did you have to turn your camera 90 degrees to show that? My observation is a comment about audio...Most phones don't have that good a microphone. So why would I want to use the mic on my phone, versus a dedicated microphone? Thanks Kevin.

Before I got a webcam I would use a free app called Droid Cam to connect my phone camera to computer for video calls !.!

Also if requires software on both phone and pc I would go with Iriun. Btw many things said in this video are very useful and will apply to Iriun too

Only just thought about using my spare android phone as my existing webcam now failing. Surprised that OBS was free software! Had been trying MS phone link but absolute nightmare to give permissions and failed miserably. My bad. Found your video, took your advice and watched setup review then after many repeats of certain sections got it working and audio cable setup too. Still a way to go but thank you for taking the time and being thorough 👍
