Nice! I just started with modular and I got a plaits and a maths. I use maths in self oscillate mode to trigger the mode it's not as consistent as this but I get some cool beats going.
Interesting. I much prefer the ‘red’ side of Plaits- I find the ‘green’ side sounds hard and unpleasant in all eight settings- and this is well worth exploring. I fancy the PNW will be able to provide all the input necessary…
I tried to set this up with the keystep pro but it's giving me a lot of trouble. Even with the Gate settings set to 5V and the shortest possible gate length on each step a lot of the time I get repeats of the last step rather than the current step. Not sure what's going on. Sequencing via the Qu-Bit Octone is consistent so I don't think it's an issue with Plaits, something about the KSP. If anyone has any advice I'd be grateful.
I haven’t actually explored the aux out much at all but I don’t think it necessarily works like that. I think often it will output just the oscillator, not processed as a drum. And at the very least it will always play simultaneously with the other drum.
