The intro was a masterpiece! It was like watching an ad that actually hooks people! Liquify is one of the main reasons I love Procreate so much that I was willing to get an IPad for it. A Godsend of a tool. I learned a lot of new things about the modes of liquify from this vid for sure, might wanna try some cool magic effects with it for my OCs. Thanks JRs

Very helpful and well made video. I’m pretty trash at art but have decent knowledge of the software. Recently I commissioned a drawing as a bday gift but super last minute so no iterations allowed. And the proportions for the person in the piece are off so I’m going to attempt to liquify myself before printing. Wish me luck lol

The intro was hilarious! I don't even have an ipad but I was quite curious to see what ipad artists really had in their arsenal. I actually have a suggestion actually for another tutorial! I just got done with a fanart of Ayaka Kamisato from Genshin and I was trying to make god rays. However, I don't think I nailed it as well as you have like with your Ningguang and Xiangling works. If you're up for it I would definitely appreciate a tutorial on advanced lighting techniques! Great video and thank you!

That’s a really good idea! I’m in the middle of painting the ruined king right now from league of legends, but after I wrap up this painting that’s a great idea for another tutorial! It might be a little while before I get around to putting together and posting that tutorial but if it helps out I have briefly gone over god rays and similar lighting effects when I painted Wattson from Apex legends. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ItbyhDbmTDw.html Screen is definitely one of the most useful blending modes when it comes to painting god rays. if there’s any other advice you’d like me to offer in the meantime before I get around to making a tutorial for god rays, ask away, I’m more than happy to help out however I can.

@@JRsJunkDrawer Just watched it now! After replaying it a few times I think I have a decent idea on how its done. I also appreciate you for mentioning the screen blend mode because I honestly never clarified the exact usability of that particular blending mode (I use clipstudio paint). As for other questions I think for now I'm fine! I very much appreciate the informative response so thank you very much.

@@Nutriprophet of course, always happy to help! I’ve been thinking about taking clip studio for a test drive and diving into making a video around it… but I haven’t found the time yet. It looks like an awesome program and I’d like to see how it works first hand at some point.

@@JRsJunkDrawer I'm definitely enjoying it! If you're familiar with photoshop, its basically photoshop without the liquify tool and a little bit more tools for creating manga. Personally, I bought myself a Microsoft Surface Pro 2 months ago to do digital art (used to do traditional) so I'm very new but I'm comfortable on the app. Obviously it's a different operating system from IOS but I'm sure it's very well optimized for it.

@@Nutriprophet yeah I have used Photoshop. I’ll definitely give clip studio a try at some point. It looks like too good of a program not to! that’s said I’m not unhappy with Procreate at all, Learning clip studio would be more for the purposes of making a RU-vid video than trying to find a new art program.
