Wonderful tutorial simple steps and easy set up. Now able to enjoy my game with controller thanks alot man will love more content like this keep going!
I got this to work but in order to do so I had to add epic games launcher, the gta v executable file and rockstar launcher to steam library. In big picture mode/settings/controller I ticked enable steam input. Then still in BPM on each of those launchers I right clicked, selected properties/controller and from there selected enable steam input in the drop-down and un-ticked ‘use desktop configuration in launcher’ I then launch the game from steam using the epic game launcher added to the steam library (which now has a desktop shortcut using the GTAv logo and has been renamed) This is working using both PS4 and PS5 controllers
@@DanRetals in the folder that the game was installed into. So mines something like d:/steam/steam apps/common/gtav but it depends where you set yours to install

Don't have rockstar launcher in that list. I can play without it but controls are mad, i don't know how to change. using dualshock 4, but when i pressin 1 button 2 action are happening in the game.
INTERNET DETECTIVE QUICK HIDE. You ain’t that guy you ain’t calling bs on my video, the gameplay is real. You jealous or something because your controller won’t connect boohoo Womp womp don’t cry bro. The controller input was delayed and my binds wasn’t setup properly so my inputs were controlling other things and I didn’t realise this at the time.

Sometimes I find turning off steam input and opening the game puts them to normal just make sure the controller is wired not wireless otherwise it doesn’t work properly too
Is it a wired connection, also is your controller supported by steam and is your pc and steam updated, another things make sure the controller is definitely switched on as sometimes I’ve found it times out
