Hi, nice video, thanks for showing psyscope :) . For the grid offset thing there is a 'lat' button on psyscope ui on bottom right where you can clic and drag mouse up/down or double clic to enter value wich will be samples latency compensation to re-align (unfortunately the way live was build doesn't send psyscope the reference clock compensated when feeding with tracks that had latency introduced by other plugins processing, so have to report manually ..). Ill have a look for the lag thing. cheers

If it's developed with Juce why don't you offer a Mac version? Shouldn't be that hard. And if you need a beta tester let me know.

@@rivella99 short version: i don't have a mac. long version: what people often miss is you still need a mac Hw and change compiler simply to compile, some code adapting, also need a bit of knowledge about it, all daws on mac to correctly test and debug ect, so that's a lot of time and money i don't really have. Tbh i have coded those plugins for my own uses at first, I don't plan to go full time on coding for now that's not really my main job, maybe in the futur

@@23fx23 Alright, thanks for your explanation. Completely understandable. If you're coding with Juce framework let me know if you're open for a collaboration (i'm on Mac and a Software developer and work with 2 well known DAWs).

hi again when i set the monitor to in i cant hear the bass and how did you map it with midi ? for me it just works with audio ? thanks for helping

When you add an instrument the midi track essentially acts like an audio track... for the first problem the track which has psyscope on it should not be audiable, the goal of that track is only to send audio to psyscope, you should still listen to the original audio track that you made your bass with

I don't know how the track input is setup. you just need to make sure each track goes into a different input for the plugin to get the different colors...

Is this the Pro version? I am struggling to see two tracks on the Psyscope screen at the same time (layered, stacked, or whatever). Reaper user here. I put Psyscope on the first track, then duplicate the track and it seems that it's a "no good" method. I'll try to open a new track then put Psyscope there and see what happens. Thank you for the video!!!

For the non pro version you need to do some routing, it has several side chain inputs, so just gotta treat it like thst

Awesome plugin. But I am having some issues with waveform latencies though. I haven't found a manual or info page that helps me get this right. I am in Ableton using Psyscope pro. Can someone help me with some info to set this plugin up correctly due to the latency issue in Ableton.

There is a latency slider at the bottom which you can use to change the position of the waveform in the display!

@@Projektor_music I knew about the slider, just curious how to properly and accurately tally up the plug-in latency numbers from the different tracks. I also route tracks so I don’t know if that puts my numbers off because I haven’t had success yet. I don’t want to guess obviously because lining up waveforms for stopping the phasing is as fine tooth operation work as it gets.

@@athornsound304 honestly just guess and if you get close adjust it in slight intervals... it will offset all inputs (normal and sidechain) together so you're not lining up anything...

@@Projektor_music Sounds good. Thanks for the info. 👍🏻 Basically I adjusted the kick latency until it lined up on the psyscope grid and then for some reason when I take that number and double it for the bass track latency, it seems to line up pretty good.

@@athornsound304 That's incorrect. The kick and bass go into the same instance of psyscope, one via sidechain. This means there will be 1 latency value inside the interface that you need to change (not multiple values). Adjust it until the kick is at the start!

IDK, the plugin is still in beta. it looks to me like it was programmed using JUCE which should mean that creating a mac version for the final release should be easy...

Even if it came for mac, would not be able to have the window open, while tweaking the other channels. Or am I wrong. Is there a way to keep multiple windows open on Mac?

@@rivella99 That's unfortunate. I know from plugin developers that in certain cases you need a mac machine to build apps or programs for mac and maintenance is tough for mac so it might not be viable for the developer to make a mac version.
