Hi Nick. Thanks for the awesome tutorial! May i ask how you did that awesome detuning effect right before the drop for the start/ending song. Thanks so much!
Does anyone know how to turn the tutorial off upon opening this plugin? Every time I open a session, it resets and I have to go in and load my settings….
it's funny how stock FL Studio plugins plus some free noise samples off google basically replicate this whole plugin fruity delay 3 can already to the pitch modulation, distortion (granted only one type of saturation but you can use waveshaper for more and the "digital" bitcrushing and sample rate reduction "space" is just reverb, and you can just use an EQ for the eq section lol
Being a big fan of/taking heavy inspiration from the saturation/degradation Boards of Canada implements into their sound design, I've been able to do a good job of emulating that using the RC-20. Its fantastic!
Mix controls how much of the unaltered signal is still present, while the big magnitude knobs control the strength of effect. For instance with the wobble: lower magnitude is going to only move the pitch a little bit, while bigger magnitude may move it like a whole semitone or more. But either way: with mix at 100%, *all* the sound is getting wobbled, nothing is left alone. But with mix at 50%, it's like your sound is split in half, and half is wobbled, half is left totally alone.
I've been looking for a way to mimic the noise + follow effect in FL but I haven't found any videos or managed figure it out myself. If anybody has an idea on how to do that, please let me know.
hey uuhh could you guys please add atlas by algonaut to the list of rent to owns because paying i wish i had the money to pay for it fully and the free trial tells me that i have to put all the drums in during the 10 day period and that's a bit excessive so please, add atlas as a rent to own
@@markm4496 Pretty easily.. same as with Serum and Sylenth1 - they were so overused that when listening to some tracks you could immediately say "that's Serum"...
Jake Well serum and sylenth are synths not effects. They sound the way they do because they’re instruments designed to sound a certain way. RC-20 is an effects plugin and I don’t think anyone can listen to two different reverbs or white noise sounds and tell you what plug in generated them...
@@khairitannur This effect plugin has quite distinct sound though... that's the reason why dudes like Kenny Beats switched to Wavesfactory Cassette, as he said in one of his streams and I agree, basically everyone uses RC-20 and in some tracks you can hear it (especially the vinyl noise and magnetic tape modules)
bruh I can't focus, why his eyebrows like, trying to fly off from his face, . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . hey hey hey don't take it serious, just joking eh!
Why use such a minor chord progression when demonstrating something? It sounds so gloomy and depressing. Sounds almost like you're going to start playing moonlight sonata. Also, what the hell kind of free plugin is this? No free plugin should make you have to pay for it! Its like they've forgotten the definition of the word "free".
