Thanks, Jennifer, for explaining the different sentence structures of Recommend, Suggest, and Advise. No other teachers have Suggested minding this common mistake before. I find it practical and helpful and would RECOMMEND your channel to my friends. Also, I'd like to follow your ADVICE and watch the other two related videos.
Having watched a couple of her informative videos, I recommend that she be promoted because she usually explains complicated subjects to people very effectively, enabling them to absorb those concepts rapidly, and that is why I more often than not suggest watching her videos if you desire to make significant progress.

-Could you recommend me other than for two videos? _ Sure, I recommend watching the video related to strive and thrive. - I also advised my friends to watch them. -What are they thinking about them After listening to ? - Oh they strongly suggested your student listen to one of them. - Why only one? of the two? - I am not sure but it seems to me because they didnt watch that one, so they only recommend that one of them be watched. - That sounds great, I would do the same if I were them. -Now, you suggest watching which one? - Sorry let me make a guess? I think you recommend listening to them three times again. ? -Yes - I will pay attention your advice - I always advise the learners to watch and listen to all videos at least three times and take note . Thanks JF for all you make a great effort🌻🌻❤🌻🌻

To be honest, the grammar behind these verbs is not a pushover. Dear teacher, I have only one question. Would it be ok if I said: I am going to recommend you to my boss?
Thanks for this useful lesson Teacher Jennifer!! Teacher could we use:What do you recommend?or it must be always: what would you recommend?? I recommend you to go to the restaurant "Elton"??(for exampe) I recommend buying that book?? She advised reading the contents. He advised me to drink the bottled water. Can you explain the following words???
I agree with you that these are recurring mistakes for advanced speakers. You’re great. And I love how you jokingly made us swear to stop using them because "silly" things like that, really get stuck in our brain 🧠. You’re a great teacher.
1)What would you reccomend for dinner? 2)I reccomend visiting Antalya for your summer holiday 3)İf you want to succesful in your lessons i recommend that you should work hard than your current situation.
which is correct? "I recommend she go home" or "I recommend she goes home" I think it's the former because it is the subjunctive. We can also say "I recommend she should go" hence no "-es"
I’d highly recommend (that) you watch the other Jennifer’s videos regarding these words. He advised me to reject her offer My boss suggested (that) I call the shots on that project. No one could better explain the correct application of all these words to me than Jennifer did:)
Hi Jennifer,. What's up? Again, congratulations on your new look, I like it...no wait, I love it!! I suggest you take a break. I recomnend that you go to Mexico. I need to watch this video more times or what would you recommend?
You are right ma'am the sentences are grammatically incorrect.but are they acceptable in spoken English or not . spoken I mean the way you people speak in every day life
What would you recommend/ suggest for the dinner? I recommend/suggest John for the promotion. My lawyer recommended compromising with my foe. My doctor recommended (that) I eat healthy food. He advised me to exercise everyday. He advised going to bed early. I advised (that) she takes care of herself. Can you explain the topic in detail ( to her)?
I found this video because I was reading this Recommend We can also use recommend + that clause (without object). I recommended him to stay. I recommended (that) he stay .(more formal) I recommended (that he stays .(less formal) *But I recommend him to stay*... according to your explanation, you say that like I recommended he stayed... right? I'm confused 😮
What about suggest to+object He suggested "to me" that I lose weight. It's still followed by a clause, yet we can put an object in the sentence. Thank you!
Jennifer recommended watching two videos to me My dad suggests i study hard to pass my exam My sister recommended (that) i should go with her to the club. My coach recommends me for the leader position. My friends recommended going to cinema rather studying.

How does' you' can be an Subject, Teacher. As we we know there three main parts in a sentence. For instance, Subject,(2) verb, and (3) object.. As we were taught,in a sentence here is must be a subject, a verb then object.Similarly,I recommend you find 150 books. If that's right,Why "You" is object here. Please elaborate in detail

@@JForrestEnglish I'm awfully sorry Jennifer, Is the 2-d sentence right? Isn't " should watch" an infinitive without "to"? And I have an other thing to say - thank you very much for this video! You are the only teacher I've found on the internet who explained to me when I can use "recommend me" i.e. "I AM the recommendation" and "I am a person who is given the recommendation" . Could you confirm that I am on the right way? Can I say : "Tom recommended me to his friends for being their housekeeper", " Tom recommended (that) I be the housekeeper in his friend' s home" ? Thanks in advance.
