Wow, I watched a few videos before this one trying to learn the plugin but this one was by far the best. You explained everything so well and you seemed to have taken the care to actually script the video beforehand which helped so much!
Thank you for noticing man. I really get annoyed when people just turn on a screen recorder and start talking nonsense and theres crazy filler in their videos. I just want to do my best to provide the most without wasting peoples time
Thanks so much man, I'm a musician but never knew the engineering part behind it all. Just started this a month ago and I'm still learning the mixing part, this really helped explain more than just Sakura. Subscribed
Awesome, glad to be of service man. Yeah all of these plugins take a little while to get your head wrapped around them in terms of how they all work. But fundamentally, they all work the same. I am confident you will figure it out
Awesome man, I couldn't find a good tutorial on Sakura when I first started so I thought it would be a good idea to make one. Was there any other plugin you'd wanna see a similar video on?
Your videos will always be relevant for new producers! Even experienced producers could probably learn a thing or 2, just subbed to see your stuff when you post bro keep it up!
Got to learn a lot of stuff in this video.... thanks ❤️ U should make a series explaining all the stock plugins 😊 BTW um following U since long, when u had around 3k subs, Glad to see u growing...
One thing I've noticed is navies beats are fire based off sound selection & sound design alone. His melodies are always super simple and almost unimpressive. But that's his sound. And its fire.
BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOO thank you so god damn much you musical GENIE! YOUVE managed to help some random kid half way across the globe LMAO love from singapore my guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great video! Love the video, it really explains the plugin. I love these types of videos, they make it easy for people like me to fully understand the plugins.
I'd really appreciate if you could cover a few stock plugins, like Sytrus and Flex for example? I can't buy lots of plugins and it'd be cool to know more how to get the most out of the stock plugins. Thanks for really good tutorials!
Absolutely, I actually plan on doing a video on Sytrus in the next little while. Its good to see that other producers are interested in seeing how these plugins work. Are there non FL plugins that you use for your music or do you typically stick with the stock plugins?
@@NavieD I've been sticking to the stock plugins for now and a couple of others. But would be nice to learn a few of the stock plugins properly before expanding the selection too much. I like to write my own melodies and try to do different hip hop and other electronic beats based on those.
@@kerubi13 true, that's a smart way of going about it. Some producers feel the need to buy as many plugins as they can right off the bat, I personally think that's a bad idea
@@NavieD I've been trying out some free ones, but I'm sort of stuck with the presets so I appreciate your detailed walkthroughs on the sounds. I think that the best way for me to learn is reconstructing a whole beat or some parts of it following a tutorial and then going from there by myself. So thanks for the clear explanations.
@@kerubi13 no problem! Also, don't feel guilty about using presets, that's what I do 99% of the time. Leaving sound design to the professionals and using their preset ideas to help you compose your song ideas is just efficient.
@@NavieD Thanks for replying haha. I usually work with soundfonts and working with new plugins is a bit of a rarity for me (except Morphine and sometimes ChoirZ), but with time I'll get there. I'm still kind of inexperienced but I'm trying to improve. But yeah, I find your tutorials to be very useful for newbies like me. :)
@@NavieD You mean Morphine and DSK ChoirZ? Morphine is one of the system plugins, it has many instruments and it's pretty simple to work with. DSK ChoirZ is just for choirs with multiple variants. They're not much of a big deal compared to most plugins people use these days in my opinion. But you know better :)
@@kolossusgsf7757 Ahh gotcha. Yeah I only have like 2-3 plugins that I use when making beats. I sorta don't like having tonnes of plugins, I end up getting lost and taking up too much time looking for sounds.
Hello Navie. Kindly do a tutorial on how to add plugins in FL. I believe your version will close that chapter for me. Big up for the wonderful work you do. All the way from Kenya.
@@NavieD I still have to go through your school here, that I am grateful for. But I know one subject: Ideas or stories about how to build tension and release during song would be amazing. Just how you see it and how you visualise it in your mind. These video on sakura is amazing, the way you put it all together, specially graph on the end...
I have found one, more of these type ideas would be great: IMPROVING your beat arrangement (Using Automation Clips) I also bet with another title these video would skyrocket with views 👌
@@NavieD You are welcome my friend. Can i ask you if Sakura is compatibile with logic pro? How many preset the plugin have? I downloaded the demo and i like it, i want to buy it
@@NavieD Yes I understood everything about Sakura. I also want a tutorial of Morphine. Can you tell me if its already on your channel? If no, please make one! Thanks a lot!
Just got it for Christmas, thanks 10 min is all I needed now I’m ready to go! Would you like to be on my producer email list? Im sending out melodies / loops the list every other week
Maybe they already exist, but I would love to see a similar video on Gross Beat, Vital, Harmor, Sytrus (I know that seems redundant), and most importantly, MORPHINE.
@@NavieD Free alternative to Serum! It's helped me break away from Sytrus, plus I think the Oscillation sounds better. Vital is particularly great for making your own drum kits when used in conjunction with Drummaxx, as well. I would just like to dive a bit deeper into its mechanics and I think you'd be a great artist to help us more intermediate cats do so.
@@NavieD I think its a good synth, I dont know it very well, now I am learning it..I also think omnisphere has way more sound banks...but if you learn Electra Tone2 I think you can create intresting sounds..Could not download omni and then dowloaded Electra..Give it a try ! 😊
Navie D. Yeah It’s a good plugin you if you want out of this world sounding sounds and if you find the right expansion banks like based gutta , and Roy major they make good expansion banks
How can we load all the presets in sakura, i"ve installed it but no presets in there but when click add all the presets are in the folder in imagine line how can i load all the presets into sakura
thanks for the tutorial, Navie D! maybe you know this... Sakura goes mute as soon as I touch anything inside of Sakura. If I than press the top bar of Sakura, or just go to my playlist, I can play again and it produces sound. It's anoying AF! can't make sounds proparly withought taking 15 minutes on something that should take 2 minutes. Any clue?
@@P4RTYB0Y99 yea I did bit it's been so long that I forgot what it was now... damnit 😅sorry... I remember FL knew what was up. I asked them and I remember it being pretty simple as well
