The only reason I got one is because it was on a great sale and getting an excellent condition open box really slashed the price. Also, with the danger of my job the fall detection will make my worst fear better of falling a good distance onto concrete at 2am and no one knowing for several hours. First thing I did after ordering the watch was researching and getting a good quality protective case & screen protector because I'm not going to be the fool that doesn't spend the extra couple bucks and destroys the thing just like with a phone.
I've had Samsung Phones since the original S. No screen protector on any of them. Drop my phone all the time. Never had a mark on the screen. I do use slim fitting hard cases - I can recommend the Nillkin Frosted Shield
I got the watch primarily to monitor my afib and tach readings. I see how to get the ECG which indicates whether or not I was in afib when I did a reading, but I was wanting to see if there is a way to get a longitudinal reading, not just a snapshot at a given time.
That is so upsetting. I have the Galaxy Watch Active 2, and I've realised the only thing they've changed was the design. There was nothing innovative about this watch that would make me want to switch.
I have a galaxy watch 5 also I need help how to transfer other apps for example Facebook, Instagram, whatsapp, from my phone to the watch need a tutorial
Can you help us? we can't use the camera even if we allowed the app on the settings. The watch is already connected to samsung A22, all the apps are okay, except for the camera control.
I have a question regarding the pre-installed apps on my smartwatch 5. which of those can i safely uninstalled or disabled? i just dont like useless stuffs on it, and i dont want to accidentally uninstalled app that is apparently useful,
I just received my 5 and I'm stuck at fixing the strap on!!! My Fitbit Sense straps are so easy to fit on. it came without the strap attached. It also came with two chargers!
My first smartwatch, thought BT version is enough since I stay home most of the time, I did think that wifi is enough to connect to the phone as well, but no, it requires BT on always. Thanks for the tutorial.
I just uploaded the Tandem insulin pump app to my Samsung phone. I can now see my Blood on sugars on my phone instead of my pump. How do I send that info to my Galaxy 5 watch?
I went into O2 on blackfriday & I got the new flip phone with £200 worth of gifts. I got the watch, superfamily charger & plug ears earSticks, Radio, Galaxy Tab & a few other things. thank you so much! I wore a fitbit for years and now have this watch. I am confused how to find what I am looking for on it. Also I thought I could talk to text. I hope I can use it better after the video.
My calendar reminder, when it pops up reminding of appt there is an x and a snooze. I can't figure out how to use the x. I click on it but nothing do then it snooze again ??
A great video, very easy to follow. I have a question, how do I turn my watch so that the two buttons faces my hands. I feel that my watch is turned around.
Just physically put it on with the buttons pointing towards your hands and ensure the "Auto Rotate" is turned on. Once the screen appears to be right side around, turn the auto rotate off.
Hi, do you happen to know if the black border is necessary or if the usable screen can be resized to go right to the edge, please? I bought the 40mm as I have a small wrist, so the extra real estate would make a big difference.
That could be due to the new reworked UI that Google has made for Android Wear so they can hide/"compensate" for the large ass bezels of the Pixel Watch
I have the 5 Pro. The battery life SUCKS. I have to charge every 1.5 days, even with power save mode on. Besides that, the watch kicks ass. It keeps surprising me with what it does. I LOVE the AR emoji watch face. The AR character I made of myself a few months ago now appears on my watch. And he's animated and makes all these faces and expressiond. So cute!
@@leoneby973 I think the reason is because the battery doesn't store a lot of energy. It charges fast when I charge it with my phone, which barely depletes my phones charge.
1.5 days? I can't even get through 12 hours. Watch sucks. I had the original Galaxy watch and battery life sucked too, I put it on in morning & it was dead by 6pm. I had to turn off all goodies and run in black and white battery saver. I would have thought they'd have fixed that problem by now. I got this watch free w/ phone. What good are all the fancy capabilities if it drains the battery in a matter of hours. (BTW, watch is on arm, under shirt sleeve. I'm not playing games, texting nor talking on it.)
