Ive been wanting a sawgrass for quite some time now ,I always knew it was a l adding printer but had no idea it came with so many extra functions .. IMPRESSED !! Seriously impressed . Now to track one down in Australia that doesn't need a 2nd mortgage 😆
Finally buying a sawgrass your video convinced my hubby , there was a little persistence in repeating video all day 😆 A3 sawgrass in Australia are 3k so back to an A4 at least I'm finally getting my hands on a SAWGRASS
Is Design Mate the same as Creative Studio? I do not see anywhere on Sawgrass how to get Creative Studio. Please let me know as it gets confusing. Thank You!
I have a Sawgrass Printer...when ready to print after it is put in the queue...do you have to click on Print Manager in order to get that to pop up? I have to all the time and it seems that I should not have to??
Thank you for this video. I am curious if Creative Studio or Design Space with Cricut has more functionality and designs to choose from. I've watched your other videos, but do you do a comparison?
For sublimation, Creative Studio probably has more applicable designs. Design Space is not for sublimation technically so designs are made more for cutting.
Love your video. I have a printing question. You said you can design and the save or share in CS. Can I save it as a png and use it somewhere else..say Silhouette and print it to another printer? I know you can not print to another printer other than Sawgrass directly. Kind of looking for a work around so I can use the template software in CS only.. Thanks!
Sorry. I should have specified I was using Forever Flex. But Creative Studio wouldn’t know that. I use to be able to see it in Go Products. I’m assuming they’re not going to launch the Go Network?
Hi I am starting a business wit speaker and tumblers they are 20 oz tumblers and we print wit the sawgrass 5g500. Do you know the measurement sizes of the speaker tumbler and straight tumblers for the sawgrass 5g500 full wrap so I can be prepared ? Thank u
Hi Angie, I am just learning sawgrass creative studio, I would like to use a font I had downloaded but it looks like I need to buy the premium subscription to use my own fonts, is that correct? I would prefer to not upgrade but I have fonts that I have used for years and really like. I appreciate all your videos, they have really helped me.
I have the premium version so I can't tell from where I am looking. If that is true, can you design in another program and just use your Sawgrass to print?
Angie maybe you can help, I have designs something and after a while it says inactivity and I have to log in again and I lose my design, and it will not let me save, is there a way to retrieve it. so frustrating. Thank you
I love your videos. Are you going to do any more on the Epson F170. I've noticed a few on Sawgrass but only one for F170. I will one day get the bigger one since I have such great luck with mine. After a year and letting it sit for months on end. I've never had a problem printing or it needing cleaned constantly. My dealer says the humidity is the biggest enemy on these types of printers. Again, thank you for all of your videos. They help so much
The main F170 video covers everything you need to know about that printer. That being said I have USED it in many many videos making things! I will be doing some comparisons between printers however.
@@dkquick72 I've seen a couple of comparison's. One was from a good company. F170 won that one, not only in the cost of buying and upkeep expenses but also in printing. I have good luck with mine. Enough that if I ever upgrade to a bigger one, I'll go with the Epson 540. I haven't been doing this very long so I learn so much from those that have. I had great results doing glow in the dark tumblers for Halloween. I do wish it would have software like the 540 does though. I don't do so well with Cricut and the others. I can bring things into SNC and edit them but then I have to snip it, you can't print from it. But hopefully that'll be changing at the end of the month. What printer do you have.
@@judyromano2229 Thanks for the info. I searched for comparisons videos, but didn’t see anything that convinced me either way, hence asking Angie to do her amazing thing! 😀 I don’t have a sublimation printer yet, but been doing research before taking the plunge. I’ve just been using infusible ink for my sublimation projects so far. Thanks again for the feedback.
In creative studio i can not seem to get more then 1 project on the. paper is thst possible to keep adding different projects to the same piece of paper? I hate wasting the paper..
Yep you can do that. I would design the second in Creative Studio, download it, and use the jobs tab to put it on the same sheet. I do an example in the Print Manger video!
@AngieHolden haha seriously, my bad. I'm actually after sawgrass as I'm getting white hair cos of the sublimation. I do it as a side of my embroidery for 6 years and couldn't get the right colours, not even similar. I've recently got Hiippo but colours are rubbish. I don't need super bright or strong colours, I just need exactly (or nearly) what I can see on my display (at least one of them as I understand different companies produce different monitors). Do you think sawgrass gives you what you have in the software? I use Corel 2023 and affinity. Thank you Angie for reply, I will look carefully next time. I just noticed not many people compare already made product with what they see on the screen🤷♀️
Screen colors vary widely. You would have to get a specific monitor and calibrate the monitor first of all. Second you will have some differences as the display colors are different from print colors always.
Yes I know that but somehow I'm always happy with my epson printers or brother, just not sublimation. I do understand colours may be different but I'm looking for at least something similar. Hiippo is known for not doing grey scale. Also on the pantone video you did, Hiipo is vivid and bright but missing so many shades. Personally I think the top pantone( I think it was epson original) gives you the most variations, hiipo + colour profile gives very similar tones. Very disappointed with that ink.
