I wasted hours online watching videos on how to make my own stickers and for whatever reason I couldn't follow the instructions from other youtubers. Then I FINALLY came across your video and you explained it in such a simple way, that after two days and hours lost..I finally learned how to use registration marks and how to print and cut my own stickers. THANK YOU!
Exactly what I needed! I’m doing inserts for baby shower invitations with a detachable raffle ticket. Your instructions were so easy to follow. Thanks! 🙂

Thank you so much Lisa !! You’ve taught me everything I know about my silhouette and my pink heat press ❤️ I was just saying that I wanted to add care tags to my custom garments
You use the bleed to add a touch of color bled out past the letter borders. It's useful for print to cut if you're a touch off on calibration so you don't see white slipping into the final product if you don't get the cut snug to the image or letters. -TRW Crystal
That's pretty cool. Can you cut out like a logo? I'm sure it probably doesn't need to be printed first and just sent through the cameo for cutting...right? Thank you for another great video.
You bet! We have an entire silhouette playlist here on our RU-vid channel. Click our TRW icon to go to our channel, then click Playlists. We're here if you have any questions! -TRW Pilar
So I noticed that some of your letters actually was out in the negative space or registration area. So as long as the black dots and angle lines are not covered it's ok?
Two question! Do you use special paper for card stock? Because most card stocks are a lot more rougher then paper. If so can you list? 2 what type of printer do you use, or it doesn’t matter?
We hope the last few years have treated you well! Regular cardstock, it's a heavier "paper" and an either inkjet or laser will do fine :-) We have a team especially for social media comments now, and we wanted to reach out and say thank you for being part of the Crew, and that we're here for any questions you might have. Thanks Lisa, question with print and cut. Can something be designed in Corel, etc, then brought into Silhouette to set up the trace and registration marks - say full color sticker designs or something like that. Then do the same steps of printing on full color printer and moving to Cameo or Portrait to get it cut out?

I'm a super beginner at this and I think you describe everything so great! However, around the 2:45 mark, you are saying that you are selecting everything in black (i.e. the verbage in the box). For some reason I can't figure out how your doing that! I'm sure it's something simple but I'm stuck. Whenever I try what your saying, I get to the action tab under SEND and select NO CUT, everything, even the red box goes grey. I need the red box to stay like you have it...red. I even tried to print out anyway, and it printed the page with nothing on it! Been at this for 45 mins......argggg! Can you help? Just trying to print labels like yours for practice. Thanks :)
Hey Kristy! I think you need to change your cut type from Simple to Fill or Layer. If you have trouble doing so, give us a call at 941-755-1696 and we'd be happy to help. - TRW Haley
Hey! I want to use as much space as I want so I want to make the lines for each square overlap. Every time I do, it cuts over the lines twice, sometimes even leaving cut marks on my cutting mat. How do I avoid this from happening?
You're just in time!! We made this GOLD MINE filled video on cutting issues just yesterday! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3wRE-u8NINU.html -TRW Crystal
This is a great video! But, I have designed a black text sticker with a black oval around it. It copied, registration marks are there, the silhouette reads it then says unload, like the job is done. It doesn't cut. Any ideas? I've rewetted the video 4 times, I am definitely missing something.
In your cut panel, make sure you select the specific line you would like cut, and click "cut on the right. You should have a bold line around the cut line, but not around the others. - Lisa
For printing, you need either a laser or inkjet. To make cards, or just draw something pretty on cardstock with your machine, you'll need the sketch pen that fits in the extra slot beside your blade. -TRW Crystal
Many people mistake these cutters for having the ability to do both things. There are machines out there that will, but they're in the double digits for price. To "print" THEN "cut" as it should be labelled, you first design in Sil, then send to your actual printer, inkjet or laserjet along with the registration marks. Then you feed it back into your cutter, and the laser eye reads the registration marks and knows where to cut. -TRW Crystal

I've been trying to make care instructions but my cameo doesn't cut around the box it cuts thru out my design.. what can u do?? I've tried remaking the whole design reinstalling the program
It sounds like you might have the wrong cut settings. Make sure to select "Cut Edge" when you go to cut. Please email us at info@therhinestoneworld.com if you're still having trouble. -TRW Bri
I can not get it to where it just cuts the edge. It keeps wanting to cut all of the design, regardless of how I set it up. When I click cut edge, it cuts the entire edge, both the inside one and the outside edge. Then there is no outline of the shirt. ( hope that makes sense)
Hi Sherry! Unfortunately, we no longer provide Print and Cut support, so I actually wouldn't be able to help you, unfortunately. I would outsource this question, and maybe check with the Silhouette School socials. - TRW Haley
@@TheRhinestoneWorld Hey there, Lisa. Good morning. My initial question was about HTV paper that I print on. Thanks for getting back to me. I figured I try and found using registration marks the design to be cut on my cameo. Silhouette doesn't have HTV print paper setting; however, I was able to use Copy Paper, Medium for best weed. I also learned it was best to allow ink to dry before cutting, lol... So, I appreciate your commitment and knowledge, plus your bravery and ambition inspires my creativity. Love what your doing
Make sure to run through everything like - is your page set up to the correct paper size, and that everything needed is on the work area of the screen, and often I like to get everything set up then go to send like I'm going to cut it. Just to see if it "sees" it with the red outline before I print. -TRW Crystal
Thank you for your answer, I had to go listen to a video in Spanish and I figured that I had to have the letters in color, I was able to print, what I couldn't was cut, I have to look better.
Hi there! If adjusting the volume on your computer, phone or laptop wasn't ideal, then please try this instead - On the screen with the video, near the bottom you'll see the letters CC (Closed Captioning). This will allow you to have the words on the screen as they're spoken. Thanks for watching, and we have over 3 thousand other great videos on our channel if you'd like to explore more. We also go live every Monday night 8pmEST for free training, chatting and answering questions along with some pretty awesome give aways! Hope to see you there! -TRW Crystal
Shelly, if you wanted to use the pens, put a pen in one of the carrier holders and set it to sketch pen. Then you would use the other carrier (if you have the CAMEO 3) to cut. Check out this video that shows a similar process, just trade out the second blade for the sketch pen. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UW2xHZBwBWE.html - TRW Lisa
Talks too fast went too fast. Could not really see what tabs she was using either. Sorry. I would have really liked this video if she had slowed down and not assumed that her viewers were as familiar with the program as she is.
