Hi can you please help me the smart load never switches when the solar is zero.It stays on. What do you think is wrong. Battery settings is ON at 100 and off at 90
Seems there's a problem with this feature. When the battery SOC is 100%, the PV input Watt will be close to 0 - so smart load never triggers. Setting smart load trigger ON before 100% won't work in all circumstances, because battery SOC can approach 100% in parallell with smart load operation. A deadlock scenario basically. Any workaround for this?
Hi Kyle, I configured the Deye inverter for off grid setup and connected all my loads directly to the inverter. No export to grid or to home load. But I still have power flowing in the grid. How can I zero out this power to the grid (I have sufficient power from Panel and Battery)?
hello Kyle, currently i am having a problem with my parallel, 2units -5kw hybrid. everytime the battery reached low voltage value/setting, it shuts-off for around 3 minutes before the grid enter. what is the correct settings pls.thank you
Hello , the smart load its cutting off based the percentage of batteries only , although when the power of panels has decreased less than the power of smart load its stay on, any suggestions
Can you show function of microinverter connected to GEN input? Can it work without PV array connected to PV inputs? It will work when grid power is off? I want to retrofit hybrid inverter (SUN-3K-SG04LP1) to my microinverters PV installation (SUN1200G).
Assume you have an overhead water tank. You want to pump water up into this tank when the level is very low, and stop pumping up when water level reaches full. This can happen randomly during the day or night. Now, let us assume you have Deye solar system in your home. You obviously would prefer to Pump Water into overhead tank during the day using Solar instead of at night and consume battery stored energy. Here is where SMART Load comes to play. You now connect the water pump to this Smart Load and set Deye Smart Load: 1. when Battery level reaches a nice level (in this example 92% to 86%) 2. and/or when the Sun is very strong (in this example >600W, higher if your smart load is big). 3. and/or when there is Grid Power (in this example he first did it without GRID, and later tried with GRID). Now, the water pump will be ON only when Water level is Low and Battery is high and Sun is very strong (with or without GRID). In cold countries in NA or Europe, they have water tanks for heating instead. They connect their Water Heater Tanks into Smart Load and let the Sun heat up the water tank. For agricultural applications, you can connect Irrigation Pumps in smart load to pump water during day only. Smart Load is for "non-critical" applications where devices can be turned off without any detrimental effect to you.
