In this talk Jann explores the power of speculative design. Jann Choy is a multidisciplinary designer and visual artist interested in the symbiosis and intersection of humans, emotions and technology. She is a D&AD Yellow Pencil New Blood Winner, has worked in conjunction with Cambridge University and Scott Lambert, Creative Director of Superunion, a winner of the Hybrid Futures Hackathon, nominated for Best Student Award for BMW Shorties 2019, featured on itsnicethat favourite degree show websites and on Campaign: 9 picks from D&AD's 2020 New Blood Awards winners. She is also a winner of Creative Concepts for ECHO Lightvert. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Pretty sure they didn't turn off the host's mic, so you can overhear him whispering on a hot mic backstage. You can tell at 6:00ish mins when he says "How are you doing?" like he's asking the next speaker if they're ready.
