bro is really getting ahead of the game snatching all the "early" forge tutorial content for real tho, im glad these videos exist so that the second Forge drops, Forgers will be able to search stuff like "how to use switches on halo infinite forge" and *actually* get a quick and simple answer, allowing creators to get maps and modes out there as soon as possible. I'm so excited to see how our favorite custom games will evolve because of the tools that this new version of Forge offers.
343i really deserves much more praise for this . They proved their potential with infinite's designs(armor pieces , art style , ...) and now the new forge seems like a revolution in FPS games . Its nothing new but it is a refined version of creative modes from other games and it's faaaaar better than any other FPS
This is awesome!!! I just subscribed. I hope to learn how to use a Standing Button or Kiosk so when the uses their "E" key a tank will drop right in front of them. Thanks in advanced :)
I've been trying to merge weapon projectiles. I can get them to work if I choose both guns to swap. But I want it to be dynamic. To merge the two guns you have and make it into a new one on custom equipment usage. But I don't think the configuration tab in the "Get Weapon Type" is pairing well with the "Weapon Type Combination" configuration tab.
Here is a suggestion: How about an Ammo Box that will resupply any weapon in the map. I know that would be a pain in the ass since the game has 25 weapons ( including the new DMR and 1 more weapon. That would be great but would take alot of time to do. Maybe I screw around with it once I get forge. I did some scripting in Halo 2A and Halo 5 but I'm not all that great at scripting lol it would be great as a prefab!!
This is awesome! Question! Can you make a BUTTON TUT that will use that Brute Stand Button to drop a tank next to the user using the users "E" key? and have the button activated every 90 seconds. Another words the button only can be activated every 90 seconds. So when a tank is dropped nobody can drop another tanks until 90 seconds after the first tank has been dropped.
@@Singleraxis I’m not being pessimistic, I’m just realistic about where this franchise is and has been for the past decade. It’s one of the most mismanaged franchises in all of gaming, and you’re delusional if you think forge is somehow gonna save Halo and make it relevant again. I was arguing with people in comment sections leading up to the launch of Infinite around the time of the flights, as it was apparent to me after an hour of playing the game that it was an incredibly weak and shallow game, and in light of the news that both forge and coop campaign weren’t coming till almost an entire year post-launch it was more than obvious to anyone that wasn’t blinded by the hype that this game wasn’t gonna hold people’s attention for more than three months. And to my actual surprise, the game was dead and irrelevant much earlier than I had initially thought. I was called a pessimistic hater then, and people actually told me that this game was gonna change the entire landscape of gaming, it was gonna be bigger than Halo 3, etc. etc. and low and behold, it was a disaster just as I knew it was going to be. The writing on the wall was there for all to see: the same terrible executives that brought you Halo 4, Halo 5 and Halo MCC are still in charge, and took six years to bring a new Halo game to market, including an entire year’s delay, and yet the game is still devoid of content, lacking core gamemodes, generic and uninspired maps, horrid user interface, and a competitive league that is somehow run worse than it was during Halo 5, an already low bar that they somehow managed to sink lower than. Forge didn’t make Halo 5 relevant again, and that came less than three months post-launch. Infinite’s forge is launching almost an entire year late, to a game arguably as irrelevant if not more than Halo 5, and to my knowledge this game still doesn’t even have a custom game browser. When is that supposed to come, Fall 2023? The only thing that can possibly help this game long-term is that it’s free to play, but if the management doesn’t get better, I don’t care how much content they add. It’s simply too little, too late, I’m afraid. I’m not a pessimistic hater by any means. I love Halo, and I’ve been waiting for a good all-around Halo experience for years that can put the franchise back at the forefront like it was from 2001-2009. But I can only hold out hope for so long, and Infinite is the final nail in the coffin. I had almost thirty friends playing Halo Infinite the first week or two of its release, and these were either people I hadn’t seen playing Halo in years, or some that I hadn’t seen play at all. And now, not a single one of them is playing, and talking with them personally, none of them plan to ever return in the future, not until a new game anyway. The only people convinced it’s gonna make a comeback are the few diehard fanboys left that will love and play Halo game so long as it says Halo on the front cover. The ship that comprised the bulk of the fan base sailed a long time ago.
@@europason2293 I'd kinda agree what you said. But i'm sure people can go back to it. And its not worth putting all your frustration over a free to play game and mode. You should at least know that things are not set in stone, I learn that from Call of Duty's constant same game over and over. People are allured almost everything. Wanna know why people get Call of Duty all the time? A better feeling game and difference in gameplay. Of course another half just fools. But what i'm trying to say is.. you shouldn't doubt like Agent Smith's. That's why if we keep avoiding, then you're simply going nowhere. That's how life works. No one wants to be trapped with a decision until death. Just imagine what things could be like criminals never solving their ways?
This is so rad! Do you know if you can set an area to kill any players within that area when a switch it pressed, by chance? Or apply any other effect to an area?
The first node connection passes along the "signal" so it happens after the other The second connection tells the game which player pressed the button, so it can add camo to the user.
I’m pretty sure it was possible in Halo 5’s forge where you can make something like a large door open and also have a sound effect trigger the same time
@@Surasia I figured it out, a player can be an object, so on object interacted -> damage object (activating player) by damage amount 1000. Will instakill, so cool
