Thank you for sharing. This was an intense masterclass by itself with a lot of useful information. I've been putting Pinterest off for the longest because I was afraid to get penalized, it's so overwhelming and confusing at times and I ended up posting nothing. I think I will use this tailwind paid version because 20 free pins on the free version alone are not enough, I saw how fast it adds up. Thanks again now I can work on getting my numbers up on my blog.💪💪
Ahh, so good to hear that. I know it is a lot of information but don't feel like you have to do it all. It's great to start with tailwind, though, it saves you so much time and energy and then maybe later get into other strategies like keywords on Pinterest and so on. I am using an alternative called Pinflux. It helps me to find quality new pins and also lets me set up a pinning schedule and creates pins to unlimited boards automatically.
Katie, I don't know what I am doing wrong. First, it will not change the link to the blog post. Second, I will click schedule all drafts, and it will not do it. I followed each step with you. UPDATE: I found out why the pins would not get scheduled. The description was too long. Once I corrected the problem, I had no more issues.

Really great and value-packed video. I have a question! Do you then continue to create more pin graphics for the same blog post and schedule the next pin designs for the following week and just keep continuing that process of creating different designs for the same posts over and over again?
Hey Vanessa, great question. So yes, you can continue to create pins for an older blog post, OR you create new content altogether and then new pins for this new content. It's all about how much is possible for your blog and business. Sometimes you might not have time to create a new post or product, and then it's best to create new pin images for existing content. Better than not pinning at all, right. Brand new content with brand new pins will always work the best, but again it's not always possible to do that. Hope that helps.
@@KatieGrazer So my question is if you only pin your own pins, won't your board get over-saturated with only your pins? Wouldn't you want your pins to be spaced out some with pinning other people's pins in-between your pins also?

Hi there, I have a question that has me a bit confused. So we are supposed to create a different design pin for the same "product" and then just post it on different days. So it's more or less posting the same thing (same product, for example, a mug) but with different designs, on different days, to the same boards?
hi katie, and thanks for the video. i dont get what exactly happens when you set 7 days does it mean the pin will be shown in the first board on e.g. monday and it will be shown again on the second board after 7 days? and it will be remained in all boards?

Hey Kristina, yes to my knowledge the tag option is only for idea pins. For regular pins, make sure to add relevant keywords to your pin title and description.
Hi Katie, your videos are amazing and very well explained. I watched some of them about Pinterest and with this one you converted me into Tailwind. I made a free account with them and so I started to schedule some of my new pins. Two of them have already gone to my Pinterest from Tailwind....very happy about it and it seems to work very nicely BUT when I go to look in my Pinterest 'created' list they are not shown. It is probably because I'm doing something wrong but I can't see it. I don't understand that these pins that I made are not shown in 'created' pins by me. I want to continue with Tailwind but at the moment I'm not sure. I have more pins scheduled for next week but I think I would be better off doing it manually through Pinterest directly. Can you help me?

Hey there, thank you for your question. So I love Tailwind, and it really helps me save time, so I don't get overwhelmed with all the blogging tasks, but it's not necessary to be successful. You can also pin directly from your blog. And yes, you can schedule your video pins straight through Tailwind. 👍
great video Katie--well explained. Question: I'm confused about Tailwind for Instagram? Are those two different apps? Does one subscription work for both? Surprised you can't manage all social media platforms from a single tool? Maybe I am missing something.
Hey, I have google analytics, and pinterest all synced to tailwind, and I have a lots of reshapes and impressions already on tailwind through tribes, but they're not showing pinterest analytics at all! Do you know what I have to do to have those impressions and all tailwind data accumulated with pinterest? Thank you!
thank you so much for this great tutorial!! I do have a question, when we schedule our pin, it is ok to schedule to group board or do we have to have our own boards and publish the pins there? So far i scheduled pins on 3 of my boards and the rest to group boards but don t know if is ok , thanksss
Hey there, so group boards used to work really well a couple of years ago. But for the past 3 years, Pinterest has limited the reach on group boards. They aren't as effective for growing your account as they used to. So this is why I do recommend you save most of your pins to your own boards.

QUESTION! How do I not have multiple of the same pin on my overall page? So, the same pin to multiple boards but all of them displayed on my page's account?
Hey Emily, I'm not sure I understand the question correctly, but Pinterest creates two different pins when you save the same pin to two different boards. The board "all pins" shows all pins you ever made, including the same pins to different boards. Does this answer your question?
When you schedule the pin it will create a new pin with the same image. When you save a pin on Pinterest directly then it creates a duplicate of that pin. Does that make sense?
Hey, I have a question. How can you use a design in a single pin more than once? Like when you have a single pin with multiple photos that have the same design.
So what I suggest is creating multiple pins (graphics) that look different but lead to the same blog post or product. The pin images are different, so Pinterest sees them as fresh. Hope this answers your question.

Hi, quite new to tailwind, please could you tell why the small icon of lock appears in the slot below our pin? Does is it something special? you can see at 11:13 in your vidoe
With the lock icon, you can secure a pin to go out at a specific date and time. So when you make changes to your schedule overall ( like shuffle your pins or change the entire schedule), pins that are locked won't change.

I also don't have the option of selecting intervals..cause i think i need 2 or more board lists to do that..and as mentionned i can't seem to add more board list..i hope its clearer. I recommend you test out different sizes and see what works best for you but vertical pins do take up more space in the feed and tend to get more impressions.
Hey Sami, yes, you can add your pin to Tailwind Communities, but you have to upgrade to get Tailwind Communities, so it's not included in my pinning schedule if you're starting. Communities are a big topic; I may make a new video about in the future.
