A.K.I seems fairly okayish for us jamies, her fireball has a lot of recovery so bakkai is really good. her normals are pretty poor and her defense is not great all. 5hp is a really good button against her as well. If you check my CFN i have quite a bit of replays vs A.K.I if you want to see some footage. I will make a video about her at some point :) @@asap8704

I'm a newbie to sf but really fell in love with how fun Jamie is. Recently hit plat for the first time but hit a wall there with just getting bodied non stop, it was quite a bummer lol Super happy to have found your vids man! Kaution! This video gold brother, dkk is such an interesting attack, it even hits when you don’t expect but delays when you think it won’t (for me at least, only a few days into using down-kick-kick though as primary anti-air). Maybe next video make tips for burning opponent out quicker w/oki and cr.HP->DI? Or damage difference and benefit with oki options Mathed out for optimization. I don’t mind submitting frame data or Damage values to help btw. Would like to add an important tip for all the drunken fighters…. In last round against Ryu, if he lands Lv3 super on you; now upon wake up you can HK Bakkai to Ryu because there is a very high chance Ryu will Hadoken especially if you went into burnout. Using Bakkai last round after Ryu Lv3. And wake up hadoken is a great backpocket high risk/reward because they aren’t expecting you to go through and they are PERFECTLY positioned for HK Bakkai on wake up straight through the fireball.
Hey guys when practicing the side switch using tensei kick hold forward while drive rush canceling to cancel the animation. It took me a while to figure this out. Hope it helps you guys have a good one.

Hey, awesome video but I have a question. For the first combo aka the momochi combo I keep dropping it at the end where the sweep doesn't connect after the heavy punch. It seems to have alot to do with the timing on the heavy punch, any tips on this so I can consistently complete the combo?
Timing of St.hp is something to really train, the only tip I have that really works is holding forward after j.hk, the micro walk you get before inputting heavy punch will make it a bit more consistent.
I started out using cr.HP as an anti air then solely moved to using Tensei as an AA, EVEN WHEN USING A DP WOULD WIN ME THE INTERACTION GRAAAAAAHHH Seriously I love getting a drink off of an AA but having it poked by Luke jumping idk Mk? Hk? Sucks so bad. The answer is so obvious, get better at DP AA, but damn. Hoping this video will give me a targeted use of tensei so I can stop overrelying
Yeah, as I explained in the video, DP is most of the time more reliable because of the instant air invincibility frames. I usually use tensei kick when I absolutely know a jump is coming, and dp is my muscle memory
2kk > 5 hp into sweep or lk arrow kick, if they jump forward you can also jump back mp and it will auto correct you into jumping forward in the other direction.
I think if they want to buff jamie they need to make his bakkai better and his st mp not as push back on block bc if i drive rush that i need to walk up throw and it can be interrupted and his dp needs the follows even on whiff
He is a very cool character,but needs some more love from Capcom, either up his damage from combos or have his drinks,or at least Half of them,cross over the next round and he should be ok
Hey in this combo at 10:21 , my scaling after SA3 on the DR cHP is at 46%. Yours is at 56%. I’m doing the exact same combo lol do you have any idea why this is happening?
Nvm! I just figured it out. I did NOT know that the scaling is different whether you link vs chain the SA3 from OD palm. That is CRAZY why would they do that lmao. So if they don’t hit the ground **after OD Palm** when you’re doing SA3 you lose a point of scaling. That’s crap lmao
