How to use the 3-Band Equalizer in OBS Studio

This video is a gem! Most tutorials out there they just introduce generically and dont get too deep explaning, but you really showed how adjust the tunes, thanks for your tutorial 👌

There is a semi-rule in audio engineering that try to cut before you boost. Basically, if you want more highs then simply lower the mids and pull up the gain to compensate for volume. Also, if you are talking over a game you are playing then you are going to be setback in the mix if you do not emphasize the on the mids. I use Reaper as my DAW so seeing ReaFir (precision EQ) is interesting to note.

Thanks, no substitute for a little demo. For my newb purposes I only came to this video to turn down the sibilance, which you cover really well. btw I'm only doing voice-over for YT vids, using OBS or Screenpal with a Seiren X mic. I'm glad to see about the eq, nice to be at the steering wheel, not in the passenger seat on the journey of recording. Cheerio
