Could you help me at all please? I've bought one of these cameras but it's not allowing me to access the app. Just keeps saying something about wifi and data access but I can't find that on my settings
Thanks a lot for the video. I bought this two years ago for my daughter, and we don’t know how to use it until I watched your video. A big help indeed!
Best 4K Action cam settings from an actual photographer with inside-out knowledge of how a camera works image quality: Fine (this will give the balance of quality and sharpness) Sharpness: Medium (high would give too much crispness, and low would make it look lower resolution) Exposure: -1 EV (to avoid clipping highlights which make scenes too bright such as looking at the sky) ISO: Auto (I would say 100, but it's not quite the same as with a DSLR, it doesn't improve the image quality, and for beginners Auto will work fine) Frame-rate: 60fps (it just looks way smoother) these settings should see you with the best resulting image quality of an action camera (unless it's a GoPro that's later than 2018) Even though these are 4K action camera's they are interpolated, meaning they are upscaled to 4K, You will get more quality from 1080p 60fps. If it comes installed with Image stabilisation, it's usually on a narrower field of view (viewing angle in degree's) So sometimes not as beneficial as using the wide-angle setting. I have the Apeman A80 and for what I need it for, mountain biking, it's spot on.
I just got this 4K Action Cam. It has similar features to my GoPro Hero 4! Not as solid or heavy as the GoPro and the audio is weak but otherwise works fine for 1/3 of the price! Am also using all the mounting accessories in the bundle for my GoPro, except for the battery, charger and external mic. The 4K Action Cam is an excellent value for the price for the beginner
loop record allows your camera to overwrite old files with new files. Once the memory card becomes full, the camera will delete the first video file to make room for the latest file
Yes you can get external mics. I went all over for this and it wasn't mentioned in the paperwork with the camera, but it does work. Usb port jack to 3.5 jack input.
The loop record can be used as a dashcam in car, on bike or on your body when you have accident or archive a stunt etc. you can edit the footage or use as evidence.
My wife bought this for me. It came with very little instruction, that’s why I’m on RU-vid watching this guy that posted this video and he doesn’t know what all the setting do.
Buzzing with this video cos a just bought the same in black with clear case to box full of goodys, even for my Tri-Pod as im starting a new channel and my good camera broke and found this one for only £15. Reduced from £35 With the sort of wide scope effect it's a great little CAM for what ever you need it for with even better help from this video Honestly .....Thanks Very Much
The video loop feature allows you to do continuous recording till the card is full then it will systematically start to overwrite your video from the beginning with the newer portions. A great little ability when you're waiting for a special event/moment that you can't risk pausing the video to format the card or make other space. ^_^
@@danhoughton6580 I don't recall there being an indicator/notification, but it is a recording option you can turn on or off from the menu. You might get a notification if it's linked to your phone, but I personally haven't played with that feature so I can't say for sure. Good luck!
You are so awesome this helps so much. I'm going on a paranormal investigation and a couple of weeks on a big navy battleship and wasn't for sure how to use this thing. You really helped me out so I don't have to look like an idiot LOL
50 Hz, 60 Hz, 70 Hz. This depends on what country you are in. The U.S. is 60 Hz Europe id 50 Hz. This has to do with the power out lets in different parts of the world. LOOP. Looping is great. It prevents you from running out of memory in case you are driving in your car and want to constantly film in order to capture something unusual. The camera records in a "LOOP" pattern. So you don't run out of memory.
@@donlew8222 I agree....my vol only goes up to 6 was set at 7 when I got this camera go thingy.I forgot I bought it, thot I canceled it..well how do u use I can't find a video to set date nd all. Dang!
Thanks for the help and info on this, I got this today, but it seems to be a slightly different version. I've a few issues with it already. 1. I can't seem to zoom in or out on the video. 2. The shutter button doesn't exit settings like it's supposed to do and 3. It goes straight to camera mode unless I set video mode to 4K. At the moment I will probably be sending this camera back, but in case you or anyone else can help, thought I'd ask first.
@@maxleach7660 If you want to browse and delete videos individually, just connect the micro-SD card to your laptop, and browse and delete the videos from there.
It look me hours trying to just get out of the waterproof casing. in the end had to go onto you tube. It's now charging, but doesn't know its got an SD card in, so read booklet some cards it doesn't recognise. Will it complain if I just chuck it against the wall? Just received it yesterday but had, had a few drinks, so only opened it four hours ago.
LOOP VIDEO: means that you can set the time option for the cam to record a video. Say you set the timer for 5 minutes, the camera records in a loop of 5 minutes each and it continues to record and once the micro card is full the first recorded video is automatically erased and it overwrites on that.
Loved your review thanks. I do a lot of long runs and long bike rides that I'd like to record in full so the maximum time limit of 25 mins after which time the camera will automatically stop recording is way too low. Having to re-start recording manually is not really an option while on the move. Is there anyway of overriding that?
All of you people complaining, remember that this company is overloaded with questions. So as a group we need to figure this out together. I have added a few things. It is a simple little camera to operate. I had it working right out of the box. See a few of my tips below. If you have questions just ask. If you have complaints I will accept those too. I know how it is when a company has no tech support.
@@learnjcbskidsterchickensga7594 it's a teter lock make sure camera is in place then you clip hook it and pull to place.. There's another video that shows you as well
@@TeresaMiAmore I found out how TO OPEN IT, IT CAME IN CASE..., but when I tried to figure out what to put together to mount it on head or helmet, another stall. 8-( It was cheap at Menards 2019.
@@learnjcbskidsterchickensga7594 oh.... there's another video on RU-vid that shows the differents mount.. But i dont think its detailed to show how to attach and remove.. I'll look for it for you
great job. I just bought a pair of these, and have a question. The instruction manual i received says i can install a micro card to 64 Gb, but some places say 32 Gb. In your vid you used a 16 Gb. Does the size and quality of the micro increase the time of the loop vid feature? 5 mins option on the camera is not what I expect with a 64Gb micro extreme plus san disk designed for 4K vids. I am using the cams for my motorcycle and auto dash.
could someone help me, i just bought one of these my settings are in chinese, how do i switch it back to english?lol ' ' 'Update: i just started hitting buttons and it changed to english, so all good now haha '
Best Tutorial online and I thank you for it, but HELP! I am trying to set this up for my daughter and have a few questions. The first one is - Can I simply connect the camera to a PC using the USB cable provided and import the photos / movies as one usually would with - say a phone?
@@TechGeneral thanks. I can’t get that to work which was why I asked. I am using the usb cable provided and every time I try to connect it simply charges only. Any tips?
@@BurkeHare1 I see, the other option is using a micro sd card reader and connecting it to the pc. But also check the manual as well if there’s any info/instructions
that is all very well, but how do l take it out of the case it came in??? no instruction manual! and huge amounts of bits for attaching everywhere l havne't got a clue how to put it together
@@bazooragamer7951 yes it will set up a new Sd card. If your card is full or you just want to erase the incriminating evidence then once again format the Sd card. It will erase the information on the card and reset the card to be used again.
Great review. I’ve got a 1020p 12mp one and wonder if the 4k will play videos on my 1020p tv? Also using Samsung phone will it connect like an iPhone? Thanks in advance
Just unboxed my camera and installed a 8g micro sd card. My camera only has 2 video resolutions to choose from 1080P 30fps and 720P 60fps. I don't have the other choices you show. I hooked it up to the APP ismart DV and it also only has the same two resolution choices. Have you heard of this before?
For me it doesent have front indicator light for battery only has that light near the "ok" button Edit1:i forgot to say...i left it charging the whole night and it charged just a little bit and like 15 minutes pass and says low power and turns off Can you make a tutorial for charging too,or just something about battery please??
With loop recording it will record continuously. When your card gets full it will overwrite the older clips. When he went through the menu I didn't see an option to change the time. I have a General Plus clone of this cam (the seller claimed it was an F60R) the option to change the time on mine is called cyclic rerord. The features and looks are identical but it has a different firmware on it.
"this is for uhhh idk" "hey this one right here, dont know what that does" "someone tell me what this does" "and this is how you take a picture" thanks for watching guys
I am thinking of getting another action camera ( unsure of which make yet). But, as I still have a older type TV (LCD NOT a 4K ) will a 4K action camera work fine on my TV when streaming my footage ( so I can view it much better) or will I have to spend out a fortune on either a 4K TV or accessories to make compatible with the camera? The reason I ask is I have never had anything to do with 4K before & am very unsure about it. I also have another action camera but, it's not a 4K one & is brilliant with my present TV. So, I need to know as much as possible but, simple answer to my query, problem or dilemma. 😕😮 As all recently made action cameras seem to all 4K.
Muchas Gracias
Cool im getting mine soon but I don't need a computer once I record a video with it take out the card and install it on my phone and I can put it up on RU-vid 👍🏻
