In this video, we will look at how we can use Blackstar's Architect software with the ID:CORE V3. Stay connected with Blackstar: Facebook: / blackstaramps Instagram: / blackstaramps Twitter: / blackstaramps
This amp is decent, but the fact that you didn't provide a usb cable is dissappointing and feels like you're just being cheap. Many people might disagree, however just consider the fact that if the amp has a usb socket - it should include the cable as well.
The Amp is excellent, and really great value. The software integration is a bonus, I don't think they should have included a usb. I mean who's really being cheap here?
QUESTION. When I use this as an interface to my computer to rec in a daw how is the monitors and amps pluged and wired? I now use a UX2 and use its outputs to the amp and the input for the instrument. Thanks in advance.
My original version ID Core Stereo 40 and be connected to the software app as well. my amp will also get a pair of switched 1/4" speaker cab output jacks it lacks, wired into the internal speaker wires to de-activate the internal speakers when externals are plugged in. I will also custom build impedance matched (4 Ohms each) vertical cabs with any from 4X8" to 4X12" speakers that when stood side by side will be in effect a "Full Stack" with the amp laid on top face down with controls forward (internal speakers inactive). or connected to the surround sound receiver's CD input from the 1/8" stereo headphone out jack through a stereo 1/8" to 2 RCA adaptor cable. giving me a deeper and fuller tone with even more volume available through all the surround sound speakers including the subwoofer. with the input level properly adjusted I get a whole lot of sound that way. Yep I love my music loud. and guitars especially. 40 watts should be able to power the custom cabs I'm building for this purpose. and the cabe will be cheaper to build that buying used, let alone new. and I can make them look how i want from the start. the guitar I built/Modded from a cheap Chinese made "Starcaster" "Strat" electric guitar By: Fender (said that on the head stock) that I bought to extremely Mod to what I wanted. now finished, the guitar sports a custom spray can and airbrushed detailed stars and planets space theme paint job on the body and head stock and renamed the "Stellarcaster" in keeping with the fender naming progression and the paint theme as well as the hand made brushed stainless steel pick guard loaded with 3 quad rail( and quad coil) humbuckers wired like a 50's Les Paul with 3 500K audio taper 500K ohm P/P volume pots the 500k audio taper tone pots, the bridge pot also a P/P to activate the bridge and neck P/Ups together regardless of the 5-way sw. pos. . the pick guard an paint scheme reflect the new name. that I pocked just for it. this os just my very first guitar project and the first of many more to come. I intent to literally hand build my guitar collection by myself many versions of various guitars. in unique colors and with various pick up combinations as I want them. and a few unique shapes that as far as I know havent been done yet. and some different than traditional body materials as well. and as with the first Tele that was all pine body and neck before the maple necks with or without a "Skunk Stripe. maple or other wood for finger boards. maybe laminant finger boards and maybe bodies and necks of different materials as experiments. who says that it has to be wood. that's just what they had available back then and could get as cheaply as they could at the time. as with any and all the parts and electronic components available at that time. now we have many newer materials to choose from to build a guitar with. why now try something new. Like the carbon fiber guitars available from some guitar makers today both acoustic and electric guitars. and anything from totally solid state and digital amps to new tube (valve) and hybrid amps available today as well. this is the golden age of guitars and amps available to every body, with in reason. some cost way more than they really should in my opinion. depending on your needs there is an amp and/or guitar for you.
How do you record the sound on your phone ? Did you place the phone near the amplifier when recording ? Or you do have a connector from the laptop to your phone ?
The shop I bought my 20w v3 a month ago stated that "we don't handle incompatibility issues" so there's the warranty.... I've contacted Blackstar, waiting for a miracle. These are garbage tbh.
@Blackstar I have owned ID:Core V2 Stereo 20 for 5 years. I recently built a new pc with new case and discovered that the connection to the computer does not work through usb 3.0. With USB 2.0 everything worked fine. Could the problem really be in the version of USB ?
I read somewhere that USB 2 extender is working okay. And I am myself facing the same issue in USB ports where 'SS' is marked meaning they are usb 3 ports in ID CORE V3.
I have a blackstar id150h. Ive noticed architect on windows does not have the noise suppressor pedal nor the resonance/presence knobs nor does it have cab rig interfaced. Is this normal for the windows version of architect?
i suppose that v2's have a firmware update to work with architect. and v1's are only compatible with insider. my friend has an id core 10 v2 and he uses architect
Hi I have Blackstar id core 10 v3 I tried to download arhcitech but your website is asking me to register. ok i tried, the site asks me for serial number and i don't know where it is what should i do?

I'm sure you can get something that closely resembles the tone you are looking for! by using the amp alongside Architect, this shall allow you to create your own patches that can be stored to the amp and edited to capture the sound in your head.

The minimum requirements for Mac are incorrect, and you don't provide a back catalog of previous versions. Tied with the fact that you don't seem to respond to support requests makes me regret buying this amp
i ve bought id core v 3 10 w ...and when i try to plug in on my pc it doesent recognise my amp as sound card. ive registered my (your) product, avtivated it, but still no go. i ve downloaded architect and insider programs on my pc and also i have no go. pls dont ask me about simple things such as "is your cables are in tact? do you use specific cables on our amps? and so on..."pls.... i ve triple checked my drivers, usb ports.... i dont believe you guys made an awesome amp like this and made a huge blank with this subject...i m sure theres a solution with this topic :)
