there Isnt much time to not give them a good shock either.

If you dont deliver the shock correct it wont work no matter how much you try, so shave the chest as fast and as efficiently as possible even if you think it may be wasting time

If you got a good razor. It'll take only two swips to clear decent amount of hair.

It's because it's a training AND, it does not acctullay give you a shock I think.

You obviously don't get the concept. Hair is somehow an insulator. If it's in between the bare skin and the AED pads, the electric shock won't be effective.

What i would do is keep electric trimmers with the AED just in case the victim is hairy.

I wouldn't think it has to be completely hair free. Just enough for the pads to have good contact.

+Harry James I assumed AEDs were for the laymen.

If I couldn't find anything I would claw away skin and hair or at least most of it . The only training i got is watching two RU-vid videos so my advice could be very terrible.
