The PARD DS35 Naked (without the LRF or IR light) comes equipped with everything you need (except the LRF :) ) to calculate your hold over. We have a look at how they do it, and ask the big question of "why doesn't everyone else???"

Awesome, i like seeing a company being flexible like this. The main reason I bought the Pard SA32/35 LRF was for it's ballistic hold over function. I'm perplexed as to why the other main players don't have this calculator built in... The only other I know is the Conotech Polaris.

Yeah it’s not a hard feature to add. The new Thermtec LRF units arriving this week all have ballistic hold over as well.

Does the ballistic calculator have angle compensation? I shoot birds for work. Angle makes a huge difference to the point of impact on my pcp.

agree, i suppose the gyroscope is necessary.
