Thank you for this video! I have had the binding tool for quite some time and couldn’t figure out how to use it. Your video is the best. I just finished using the tool on a quilt binding and it turned out great. I don’t know how I did bindings without it.

This was the best demonstration on how to use the binding tool I've ever seen, I've had my binding tool for a couple of years and I've watched a few videos and could never get my binding right until I watched this one ... Love this video! I bought this binding tool and couldn't figure it out from the printed instructions. I tried the Missouri Star Quilt Company video first to try to understand this tool, but it didn't work for me. Your video was much easier to understand. I purchased the binding tool a year ago from another website, but the directions were not as clear as this video. The video was very clear with your step by step instructions. I've used your video and the tool recently on 2 quilts and wouldn't use any other way to close up my binding ends. Thank You! for a great instructional video. Robyn

Was a very good video. I bought the tool recently. I must have cut something wrong. Would love a pause to show orientation of cut and where to sew. I am getting older so takes me longer to grasp things

I needed to see how to place the two ends together to sew and that exact part was out of camera. The other video I watched didn't show it either. Ugh!

Binding is my WORST part of quilting. I purchased this tool online and have watched the tutorial several times and it was nothing like this. This is a faster and easier method. THANK YOU THANK YOU

Thanks so much! I got the binding tool and watched couple videos but I was still doing wrong and I know something was there that I couldn't follow but your instructions made it correctly put it together. If I have cut on the line I made, ( like it says on the tool) then I would have ruined my binding. It came perfect because of you telling step by step what to do!

Thank you for doing the video. What to do when Sewing projects that are smaller and you can’t do 12 inches without Sewing. Still have a hard time even after watching your video. You should do your video the other way around so we could see the right side on how to cut it.

Very clear, thank you. I would add that if you don’t extend the line, it won’t show on the outside of your quilt and won’t need to be removed, just a little tip.

Does anyone know if this tool can be used for connecting the binding strips? I used it to connect each strip and the strips were not even when pressed.

Hello good instruction. I have a question. What if i have no 12 inch maybe just a bag that is smaller and i want to bind? Is there a trick? Or is this tool just for bigger projects? And must the binding strip be 2.5 inch i normally I use 2 and a quarter inch strip....can i use the tool therefore? Thanks

In order to use the tool, you do need the larger opening. If you have a smaller opening, you will need to do it the traditional way. This is the method I like to follow: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P1srfubwAIQ.html They also have a larger opening, but the concept is the same. As for using the tool with 2 1/4" strips, it should still work just fine.

You need to have the ability to have around 12" of opening. If you have a really small project, you will need to use a different technique.

Good video. Using the ruler’s actual “A” and “B” markings would have been helpful. I don’t learn anything from watching the video, actually.... but I use it every time I have to join my binding

Yes, this is pretty important. My tool, which looks identical to the one you used is evidently shorter, because I followed your instructions to the T and ended up cutting the binding about 2” too short.

Maybe I'm going against the grain here, but I had all pretty difficult time following this. It would have been easier to follow if it was from your POV rather than like we're looking at you. It has an upside down feel. Just my perspective.
