In this video, we are guided through using the XYZ tool setter on the Carvera Desktop CNC by Makera! The manual XYZ probe allows for users to set origin positions for their stock in the X, Y, and Z axis automatically using the Carvera and the Carvera controller app. While the Auto Z Probe may work in most circumstances, this feature allows for more precise tool setup for just about any project you may want to complete.

Can you make a video on how to do maintenance on the machine? Like what fans do you need to clean? What kind of grease is recommended for the rods and moving parts?

Can you provide a 3D STEP file of the probe since I need to know the size of the corner top surface clearances necessary on jigs I will be creating. The target object to be milled needs to be attached on the top of the jig surface prior to mounting the jig on the mill table. I would also like to request a two point origin cal in which two opposing corners of the jig can be calibrated and any slight z-axis rotation of the jig mounting that deviates from orthogonality to the mill table can be corrected. Thank you.
