🇺🇲People dont understand that the prices of things are never going back down. This inflation is deeper than we think. Those buying groceries are well aware that the real inflation is much over 10%. The increments dont match our income, yet certain investors still earn over $365,000 in stocks and assets. Wish I could accomplish that.

I don't know if this is a completely different bonus offer, but I remember seeing a full match of all points accrued in 1 year. So that would make the 3% dining a 6% dining, 5% travel to 10% travel, etc. Is that just a bonus misinterpreted as double everything when it's actually just double the base?

@@ksv0509 Yes so the website got the initial $150 bonus for spending a certain amount in the first month but in-branch gives $200 plus 5% cash back on gas and groceries for the whole year up to $600 in value.

Try finding credit cards that have either pre-qualify or don’t do a hard credit pull till you accept the card. That will show you what some of your options are. I think Citi has a prequalify tool as well if you look it up on the web.

One scenario: You already have a 2% catch-all card, and don't do a tremendous amount of travel spending. Your break even if only using it as a 3% catch-all is somewhere north of $19k in spend, and only in the first year.

capitalone would price change (automatically apply or alert you when it drops). I think there was an article that capitalone portal typically have the lower price compared to chase and especially amex

@@shuhei9571 I feel like they all do. Amex have it too. The difference is that capitalone does it automatically (either alert you or refunds by default). IDK for sure since I haven't tried it, only heard of it. I'm currently an amex gal
