What I've noticed is most ebook platforms I've used for school, they never show the entire page. Maybe it's so people won't take screenshot of the page (some have a limit to how many pages you can print - like 10% of the total pages in the book).. even though you can, but it will just be two pages.
I agree. It's so annoying how they have all this other stuff that nobody uses or could care less about. Also I am trying to use the "search page number" feature and it doesn't work at all. For example, when I try to search for page 96 it doesn't just give me the direct page number. It shows a bunch of results with the word "page" in it. How dumb is that? It's so much easier and convenient to just buy a hard copy and go with the traditional way that has never failed us before.
How do I find the page number? There is a lot on searching by page number, but not one of these many, many resources tell you how to find out which page you are reading!
Thanks for the tutorial, I was getting frustrated because I didn't know how to make the ebook go full screen instead of being a box in the corner. Thanks!
DO you know how? Mine still isn't working and this moronic guide doesn't help at all. I feel like clawing my eyes out and throwing them against the wall ITS TEARING ME APART PLEASE HELP.
When you login and are at the homepage, there should be a "view" tab at the top of the page. Click on the tab that has the bars and all the chapters will pop up, then just click the chapter and click on "reading" and it will take you there with full screen. Hope this helps!
Where the HELL to do you get Mindtap itself? NOT the ebooks, but MindTap itself!! Why is this so difficult to find out? How did they mess this up so bad?
I know this is an old video... but where can I find the page numbers in the ebook. im not trying to search for page numbers but rather trying to find out what page number I am currently on.
Sadly, some ebooks on Cengage and Mindtap do not have page numbers. However, you can guess which page it is in the "search this course" search bar in the top right of the screen, and use deduction to guestimate what page number the specific page you're looking at/for is. For instance, if I looked up page 310 in my text, it would take me to chapter 10's summary page. 310/10 = 31, at 31 pages per chapter I can roughly guess that chapter 8 is located on page 250, and slowly narrow down the page I really want from there. It's not a perfect system, but I hope it helps m8! =)
