Thank you to everyone checking out the free Ozone EQ! Make sure to get the latest version of Native Access in order to install it. You can grab it here: bit.ly/3bZnZOE
Apologies for the inconvenience! Glad to hear that you've successfully downloaded the product. Here's the latest version of Native Access required for the installation of Ozone 11 EQ just in case: bit.ly/3bZnZOE
I hate that plugin companies drop support for older macOS versions. I'm happily running Mojave and have no need to upgrade. Security isn't an issue because this is an audio production machine only.
@@chukaobijiaku3037 Zero benefit? There are plenty of users, including legit recording studios that stay on older versions of macOS and Pro Tools, especially those with HDX systems.I've got plenty of plugins that are compatible from High Sierra up to Ventura. They could still allow the plugin to install and function with the caveat of no longer proving technical support for those older versions of macOS.
I just LOVE mastering. 😍 I could literally do this all day. What do I have to do if I wanna do this professionally? Like where do I have to apply for jobs? I'm very passionate about this....
I'm gonna freak out over iZotope's Free EQ plugin. Who's with me? And thank you... it will help me a lot sculpting those interesting sounds for my next projects.
It's rather subtle compared to other equalization programs but that is what makes it so useful. Thank you very much for the explanation and the fact that you are giving it away for free. Great tool for shaping the sound of vocals, clean guitars and acoustic instruments. 🤘
something I realised through experimenting with this plugin is that the default is like 50% if that makes sense at 14.10 you can see he set it so that frequencies below 20hz shouldn't really be there that's because the amount nob at the top is only half way if you used another eq after this you'd still see the frequency he took out. the default for this plug in is sorta like a parallel eq id say unless you specifically turn up the amount nob that's why it sounds more natural than other Eqs because they're automatically set to 100%
This is beautiful processing. Sounds wonderful to my ears. Now, what novice me just would have done is ADD a lower bass guitar track. Would you suggest just modifying the original track is better/easier? The end result, we both wanna hear I think is pretty similar.....
Wow this is a fantastic givaway. I had only just upgraded from Ozone 9 to 10 when 11 came out. I got a pretty good upgrade offer, but decided against it because when money is tight it really needs to be able to things that I will use and need. There wasn't all that much in 11 for me...... except the transient control option in the EQ! So now I got it for free. That is pretty amazing. 😁
If you just upgraded to 10 in the last few months I recommend creating a support ticket and seeing if they would offer you a courtesy upgrade. It won't always work but they are pretty reasonable about it.
This looks fire! Can this be used for mixing individual assets like drums and instruments? I thought I read this in my email for being just for mastering.
Marketing comment isn't helpful. Of course you can use this plugin in any of your individual channels or mix buses. It may be a mastering suite but you can basically use any ozone module on any type of channel, not just master (of course, only when appropriate, don't maximize a pad for example).
@@HoodVOCartoons Not entirely sure, I'm not familiar with neutron. You're probably right because they'd like to have a product for every category, but there are no "only mixing" or "only mastering" plugins. You just have to learn what can/should be used when. You don't need to use their mixing suite on every single bus, use it only when you hear there's something that could be improved with those specific effects. I'm nowhere near pro and my music sounds thrashed, but from what I've seen on projects and done myself, EQ and dynamics processing is basically all you need at the mixing stage, along with proper gain staging. You don't need a specific mixing suite. Learn the tools, listen to what works and what doesn't. You can probably mix everything with like one or two instances of this free eq per channel that needs tweaking. Multiband transient processing unlocks a ton of stuff, this may even replace my go-to eq.
I had hopes for this however - once again - if it means EQ'ing with one's eyes, count me out. As a professional I can only wholeheartedly recommend focusing on what you *hear* when it comes to music production. Never before in the history of music production has this been at such risk.
Hey this was very helpful. I plan to use this eq on a systemwide app to eq my headphones. However, I have noticed that whilst I am happy with the 3 band eq I have decided on. I am finding its levels are going through the roof when listening to certain tracks on Apple Music. How can I control this more, so levels don't peak at any point? Thanks
Thanks Geoff. Always amusing; a lot of YT vids claim the magic but the voice over is not great. Really appreciate your manner of presentation...and the voice overall is pro in spectrum. The mic is a little fatiguing as the bottom is great and clean but the deessing makes it a bit fizzy here. I have been using ozone since 4 and have always loved the digital filters as they were the first really flexible full null that I could depend on for XOver use on instruments and HP cleanliness. Its rare to use linear phase on eq alone because often the pre ring negates the use...but I always thought you could switch min phase/digital per band? I checked out oz8 and its eems it doesnt so I must have had it wrong all along BUT It would be great, esp for just LP/HP for those to be per band selectable AND The spectrum analyser really needs an interactive feedback ie using a peak hold like most SA do these days, so you have hold your mouse and it will actually read out the freq at the peak node is some way when doing surgical stuff. Great work!
Yeah the way you get the cuts really fast it's something I can't do with Ableton's XD and it's for free?! hell yeah. Komplete start it's really good for beginners, and even pros who want different sounds and elements. thanks for this
Would be greate if both Transient and Sustain corrections be visible on different colours on the graph. If I use that EQ on many tracks every time have to check both options what was done on thrack during revision. It consume a lot of time. When it will be visible, then with one eye catch all information will be delivered.
Love the transient/sustain option! Now i can keep some of the low end in the transient of my toms but lose the "boominess" in the sustain of those toms. Well thought out idea, looking forward to see how you expand this EQ, like running multiple functionalities in a single instance (if that makes sense?).
Installation does not work: Normally the Izotope Plug-Ins installed via the Izotope installer. With the Ozone 11 you "transfered" the installation to the NI Installer. It does not install that way on my side 😞 In the NI installer the Ozone stays in the "not installed" plug-ins. the "install" button is missing and only a "Add Library" button occurs which is only for instrument libraries AND there is nothing like a library provided via the NI installing process.
Hi! It sounds like you're using a version of Native Access that isn't supported. Can you please make sure you're using the latest version of Native Access to install the Ozone 11 EQ? bit.ly/3bZnZOE
@@iZotopeOfficial Yup same problem, you created a problem for those that couldn't get your new version of NA to run on both older and even newer systems so for those like myself we were told by you to role back to the last version, which works but we need the installer for this EQ I see the plugin in the orig version of Native Access, but have no way to install it as I and others need the actual install file same that was always avail via izotope before you guys integrated everything. This is not good for plugins, fine for instruments but not so much for standard plugins you really need to provide a direct install file in our accounts not just a dl via NA only winch is worthless it can't and shouldn't be only available via NA as this is a plugin not and instrument and was always avail with a sep installer really not cool NI you really need to fix this. Not just say one needs to dl the latest NA which I and many others had problems with it working correctly if at all. Please include a direct installer DL link in our acc for those that require it.
Sorry for my dumb question, but how i'm supposed to open this? I know that it's an plugin and od older versions it was an standalone app, but i'm really missing something there.
This plugin is awesome, especially for being free. What would elevate it to another level is the ability to use bands for transients and sustain independently in one instance for mid/side L/R processing. Now it's either transient/sustain or mid/side or l/r or stereo
Can this plugin be used for vocals? The controls seem very intimidating for an amateur like me. My workflow at present is like this: I sing a rough vocal to my musicians who then prepare the music for it and send me the music track. I then sing the vocal in my home studio and do basic mixing and mastering of the song. Can this plugin be used on the music track I receive from the musicians? And, can tweaking of the settings be done under automation? Whatever, thanks for this video and thanks for this free offer. Stay blessed.
I don't remember the Isotope winamp plugin, but I remember when it was a tiny company that had litlet plugins like "Trash" and one for vinyl crackles. It's amazing how it's transformed into being part of the NI/Plugin Alliance behemoth with some industry-dominating bundles.
Hi there! The latest version of Native Access is required to download the Ozone 11 EQ. Can you please make sure you're using the latest version? bit.ly/3bZnZOE
How do I get it??? It's in my Native Access, and it tells me to add library, but Idk where to download the library?? Every link I could find directed me back to the same Native Instruments website.
I have Native Access v3 installed on my Mac, but I cannot find the ‘new’ tab that the download instructions on your website refer to, therefore I can’t download this free plugin.
Hey I got Ozone a whileback and I literally admit I have not even gotten to using it yet, but my question for anyone who can answer is, If I already have the ozone 11 paid plugin do I need to get this eq as well? is it better to have this seperate from the main plugin? Sorry I have never used the main one that i got bundled but I was planning on it and then this came out so now im confused
I look everywhere and nobody explains how to "open up" the Ozone 11 in Cubase. I click and click but nothing happens. I went to FX and dragged Ozone to the left and a track called Ozone appeared. It said "Play the loudest". Then "Ready to listen". And that's it, it stays like that, I play a loop but nothing happens. Is there a tutorial somewhere that doesn't start with everything already open and ready to go? Thanks! Oh, this video isn't about Ozone 11 elements. Nevertheless, maybe somebody gives me a helping hand. In the meantime I'll continue searching.
Hi! If you need assistance with using Ozone 11 in your DAW, our product support team is happy to help. Feel free to get in touch with us using this form: bit.ly/izo_prod
If you're using the Ozone Mastering Assistant, make sure you put it on your master channel (aka Mixbus/Stereo out). If you just dragged it to a random channel/fader that has nothing on it, it won't hear anything.
@@iZotopeOfficial I just uninstalled / reinstalled Native Access for the third time this week. Still no Ozone 11 EQ, still no "New" tab anywhere. I am glad the Izotope products I already own aren't through this app. Not good.
Could you kindly reach out to our Installation Support team with more details so we can help you with troubleshooting? We're available through this form here: bit.ly/n1install
@grbsdl That's because you are using the older version of Native Access. Download and install the latest version, which will be black colour with white writing and not like the older, which was blue. Once installed, you will have the install option when you log into it. Enjoy 👍🏾💯
I'm not sure I understand where to get the Ozone 11 EQ. I clicked on your link in the descrpition and it took me I signed in but there are other downloads not Ozone 11 EQ
Now that the Ozone 11 EQ is free, will it be included in Ozone 11 Elements? Back in Ozone 9 Elements, we had EQ, then it disappeared in 10 and 11 Elements. Please add it back for customers who paid for Ozone 11 Elements. Not a fair move to grab new customers while forgetting the ones who paid.
Currently, there aren't any plans to modify the feature set available for Ozone 11 Elements. However, as an owner of Ozone 11 Elements, can also grab the free Ozone 11 EQ too!
@@iZotopeOfficial It's great that the EQ tool is now available for free, but it doesn't support the features that were in ver 9, especially the new Audiolense in ver 10/11. I hope you guys change your mind and bring the EQ module back into Elements 12. Thanks.
