do u need parchment paper when using mug press without infusible ink? also do u always have 2 select "mirror" when using designs for the mug press. excellent tutorial

So I am glad you did this review because I almost bought this. But after watching, seeing what is all involved, cost of sheets, mug, and what you need to do to make this work, I think I will stick with just ordering my mugs online with the designs I make.

You only want to press it once because otherwise you can burn the ink! You can set it up with multiple colours, you may need to look up how though but it’s possible but only press the mug once! 😊 Sorry I couldn’t be any more helpful!

You can use any type of sublimation mug or tumbler that will fit! Just make sure it says sublimation or it will not infuse!!!

After looking at getting a cricut I was looking at these too bit this looks like so much work compared to regular sublimation, is there any benefit to these over sublimation? From what I can tell this is more expensive and alot more work and requires more on brand materials etc?

I actually wouldnt use these mugs in the dishwasher. The mug it self is dishwasher safe and because its not a sticker u think its dishwahser safe. But sublimation is a heat transfer dishwashers get extremely hot so eventually it will fade away to a yellow color. Just keep in mind these shouldnt go in the dish washer. Plus when the ink is heated up it creates a fume that shouldn't really be mixed with eating stuff. Why your not supposed to use a convection oven that u use for food with sublimation transfer stuff.

Did you use Butchers Paper/Greaseproof Paper around the mugs before putting them in please? I saw that if you don't do that the ink can imprint onto the inside of the mug press. Which way is correct please?
