This instruction video/demonstration was so much easier to follow and understand better than the instructions included with the pouches. Thank you for helping me! ❤
I appreciate so much that you created and posted this video. I am in possession of a poem that my great-grandmother wrote and wanted to protect / preserve it. This has allowed me to do so. In my humble opinion, Scotch should request permission, and pay you, for referring their customers on how to properly use this product. Thanks so much!
This video is fantastic!! Thank you for making it ❤ I had bought a bunch of these for 4x6 photos a while ago but never really knew what I was doing with them. They’re not cheap, so I was intimidated on how to properly use them lol. This is so so helpful. I love the ruler/board method. Thank you again!! ❤
Thank you! I bought the 4"x6" sized pouches to laminate some handwritten prayer cards. I did not find the manufacturer's instructions helpful and was hoping for a video like yours online - and voila! Thanks for making this quick & simple.

Well, Laura thanks for a very simple, yet easy to understand and follow video. I'm going to try it right now. (And I think I'll even go get a board to use instead of a ruler) Thanks Again, Katfish48
WOW!! You are a rockstar! I worked at a sign shop many years ago, so we hung many custom vinyl signs, so I can squeegee vinyls and laminates in my sleep. But I have NEVER seen anything like that, with your full sized masonite board, just sliding cleanly and evenly across in one stroke, making bubbles impossible! It's like a giant, sheet sized squeegee!! 😵 And letting it slowly unpeel the sheet by physics alone really contributes to your ultra superior results! 👍🏻Impressive, I must say. 👏🏻 YOU ARE A GENIUS. Thank you for sharing this video! Best tutorial I've seen yet on laying out laminates!!! God bless you and thank you for sharing!! 😘
Great job. It's good that you put the camera on a tripod so we could actually see what to do. So often people try to give a good explanation, but because they're holding the camera, you can't really understand. This video was very well done and easy to understand. Thank you.
1/4/24: Hi Laura. This was very easy and helpful and without a laminating machine, no less. You saved me money! Thank you for taking the time to share this with everyone. Happy New Year!
You are welcome feel free to look at the updated video I did, and be sure to share with others. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aIC6VtfbdsE.htmlsi=8uDBq-D78a8S5ZRD
This was really helpful, thank you! Great instructions. Just curious, have you ever tried to trim the excess edges off? I might try to laminate something that would be smaller than the pouch, but I'm not sure if trimming to size would make it come apart.
You are welcome. No I have never trimmed my edges so I don’t know what would happen. Thanks for watching though! Feel free to check out my recipe and garden videos!
You are most welcome! If you own a Nutribullet or know someone who does you may find this helpful as well. m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dn1xSwXkAPU.html
Thank you! I didn't know that theres such thing as self laminating sticker. I just bought a lamination machine, I think I might return it and get this instead, thank you again.

I was just about to buy this product at wal-mart, but didn't because I wanted to do research first on how it is done. Does it really matter if you get an air bubble on the reverse side of the print you are trying to protect? After all, that is not visible to eye when you face the side you want to view. Thanks for the upload.
Laura Forde's Videos I think I will try it first on a document I don't really care about 3-4 times before doing it on something important. I am trying to preserve 8 1/2 X 11 inch sheets of paper. It is sheet music downloaded and printed off the internet. After some time, the paper looks trashy and crinkled up. So in this case, there will be no hard side. I imagine I have to be really careful with air bubbles. I have been looking for a solution to my problem for years.
I have the Everest brand laminating pouches and couldn’t find any helpful instructions anywhere. The instructions on their box are laughable. Honestly without your video I’d still be completely lost. Thank you so much!
Hi Laura. I have a couple of questions about the laminate sheets. Are both insides sticky and is the one with the sheet stuck to it thick? I am asking as I wish to only laminate one side of a sheet of magnetic paper. (don't want laminate on the magnet side)
@@laurafordesvideos thank you for the video! I had a laminator in my online cart then came across these and said let me do a video search to see how they work. No need to buy another gadget!🙌🏿
By the way, if you know any of your friends who maybe interested in my channel feel free to share my channel with them, I would be most grateful! Have a wonderful day!
