Re-commenting here since this video got more attention (and with good reason!): It would be super cool to have a black rubber version like the simpler LCF2812 for those of us who prefer it over the wood but want all the functionality of this one! Thanks!

Only thing I don't like about smallrig products is that they all have the branding in. Just a small detail, but no doubt the design is excellent!

Nice features for people making videos. Can you please build one for photographers as well, please. I want to make use of the fully articulating screen in landscape and portrait mode. Maybe the vertical part of the bracket can simply be moved forward towards the lens, so the screen can fully rotate. Maybe it doesn't look very nice, but functionality is more important to me than the look.

I like small rig a lot. I bought one cage in the past and it was good quality for an amazing deal. Only down side, is I can’t find a cage for my camera in the USA, I don’t want to order from China due shipping taking over a month. Also I noticed prices have gone up for the small rig cages and accessories on eBay

I ordered a small rig L bracket for my EOS R directly from their site, it took about one week. :) it did sit in customs for a day or so though, but you'd expect that to happen. otherwise, still pretty fast.

Just received this. Mind does't seem to sit flush to the bottom of the camera. There is a small gap under the grip between the bottom plate and the bottom of the camera. Not sure if it's an error with this particular one I purchased, or a problem with the fit of the grip.

@@SmallRigGlobal You don't pay for returns and it will cost USD $30 to send it back to China. You guys should improve your customer service to include return shipping. It's not okay to pay so much money for a product that doesn't fit the camera, then not be able to send it back without up front costs.

Is there a way to avoid needing a thumb-screw to adjust the monitor side plate every time you want to adjust it? Sucks carrying a tool with you everywhere.

The flip out screen CANNOT be rotated when flipped out, so NO ability to rotate the screen for viewing whilst shooting very low or high angle shots. This defeats the whole point of a fully articulated screen.
