Hello...how did u get a prescription for it?.. i have a BMI of 33 now, Class 1 obese and sleep apnea with a hint of high cholesterol.. how can i get wegovy? I am also in BC, Canada
@@marshawash I just talked to my doctor and explained that I thought Wegovy would be a good option for me. If you have diabetes you should look at Ozempic. If you have medical insurance, you might want to find out what they cover.
@@marshawash For some reason my earlier reply didn’t post, I hope this one does. In my case, I talked to my doctor asking her about Wegovy, she told me what she knew about it. I said that I think it might be the right solution for me and could she give me a prescription for it. That was pretty much it. One thing that you might not be aware of: once you start taking Wegovy you never go off of it. If you do you will gain back the weight that you had lost.

For the ones wondering. Novo Nordisk launched Wegovy in the US in a disposable pen with a single dose, while in the rest of the world Wegovy is sold in Novo Nordisk's Flextouch pen with room for four doses or a month's supply. The US version seems so easy but a lot of waste plastic and more costly to transport (more volume), with the new pen, same size 4 doses. Of course is more an hassle than the disposable ones.
Has anyone experienced this as well? After using and administering the first dose, the amount of liquid in the see through container doesn’t seem to have changed. The pressure thing hasn’t really moved it seems. It still seem full. Although after using it there was a small droplet on the tip. So it does seem that at least something went out. What do you guys think
I'm super confused about the priming part. I did exactly whats described in the video, but when i pressed the button after i put it on the priming setting with the 2 dots, a big squirt came out. Now im unsure if theres enough in the pen for 3 additional uses.
@@nicholaslloyd1067 Talked to a bunch of people on wegowy, including people that actually work at the factory where they make this shit. Just make sure theres a tiny drop at the tip of the needle and you're good. No need for priming and potentally wasting any of it
@@olgasomova2986 Yes it worked. Priming is not so important. Just look for tiny drop on needle (then its primed) and turn to your dose. If theres no drop just shake it a little bit and it comes. Dont need to do "test hits" at all. Waste of liquid.
When I turn the dose selector until I see the two dots displayed, and press the dose button, it squirts out quite a bit and I’ve been worried that a large amount of the medication is wasted when I do this. Is it completely necessary to do? There is a drop of liquid already at the tip of the needle just from putting it on and twisting it.
May be for a doctor error, i've got a 2,4mg box for the first usage which is absurd! Should i return it or should the dose selector be used to reduce the amount of liquid injected?
Should you see a change in the window where the liquid is after use? I have the pen with 4 weeks worth in it but i seen no difference in the window after the 1st use
I also don’t see the difference in liquid quality after 1 time use. As I did not follow it correct and did not do first step. I rotated it to 0.25 and injected. How to know if it worked ? Did I get that liquid or not ? Could anyone help please
Hello There should never be a difference in the liquid quality If there is discontinue. The liquid remains clear and colourless. Not seeing the yellow window block may mean you are not pressing the pen down firmly enough into your skin. Counting slowly 1-6 is a guide. It may need longer. Press down slightly more firmly than you imagine you need, and remember to hold the pen so that you can see the window. You should see the yellow bar move and you continue to press firmly into your skin until the bar stops moving. Please re read all the instructions to get more confident
Where exactly did the bubble appear? If you mean a drop of liquid after you took the pen out of your body, this can happen and is normal. It does not affect the number of full doses in the pen You should prime each pen only once, and that is before the 1st use.

I thought first dose I made yesterday did not work. And I watched videos and made another one today. And amount of liquid decreased a lot. Now I am thinking may be yesterday it have worked. And now I made one again. It is not a problem that I have double ? I am so stupid…..
I was trying to figure out the same thing. If your pen looks exactly like in the video (this one is sold in the UK, might be different for ones sold elsewhere), the instructions for it say that priming is necessary only for the FIRST use.
@@olgasomova2986 If it was the first time you were using that pen, that means you might not have gotten the full dose you were supposed to. But now the liquid is definitely pushed all the way to the top, so your next dose should be the right amount (without priming it). All you can do is remember this for the next time you use a new pen, make sure to prime it before the first injection.
These instructions are not correct for US pens. Maybe UK style? RU-vid knows where we are searching from. It should not be the first video presented to us.
I agree, my complaint was not about the video maker or the content. Merely a gripe that youtube knows where I am searching from and shouldnt have shown me this video front and center. Was especially frustrating when I have cap off pen and ready to use for first time but I am watching obviously wrong instructions.
