good grief. In a monster sea of unhelpful confusing and badly executed tutorial videos its so refreshing to find something in a very different camp. Excellent content, superbly executed.
I couldn't understand the Zoom H4N instructions from other videos, or the instructions were insufficient. This video, by contrast, tells me everything I need to know to understand what I'm doing, and get up and running using the H4N today. Thank you.
Thanks for this awesome video! The H4N will be used on a documentary shoot I'm doing with my class of 11-14yr olds this week. I feel super confident after this refresher
Great explanation on the Zoom H4n. I recently started to use it more often but I was lost in some functions. This is a great guide in learning how to use it. I really appreciate the video.
Best guide for a new or forgot stuff user. It shows pretty much all what you need to get started. I have the H4n Pro newer gen but it's basically pretty much the samething. Awesome editing and explanations, thanks alot.
Finally, a professionally made "Tutorial Video," without the distracting and crappy background music so many amateur or novice video filmmakers like to use. Also, no crappy introduction that starts out with "Hey Guys," Or "Hey Everybody What's up? or, "hey guys what's," or some other useless introduction so many amateur video makers love to use. RU-vid is saturated with so many filmmakers who do a combination of these things I find so annoying and distracting. For those reasons and more I have opted to quit watching many videos. Thank you for this well thought and presented presentation and tutorial video. It answered a lot of questions that I have about my H4N recorder that I've wondered about. I misplaced my owner's manual a while ago and haven't been able to find and study it. This video answered all my questions and concerns nicely.
Waoh that is one great tutorial, I've been using it for a while now but I finally feel like I have a better understanding of its functions and abilities, thank you!
Recorded back in 2016 and I'm using this tutorial in 2019 after finding a freebie H4n and H1 in a box of random Studio gear I bought LOL. Thanks uploader! 🤜💯🤛
Thank you for this AMAZING OUTSTANDING VIDEO! I just bought a Zoom H4N from Ebay and your video helped me record my first episode today! It sounds AWESOME !!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (My Stuttering Life Podcast)
I've watched several videos on the H4N. This is the best BY FAR! The only thing you didn't touch on was how to use this while plugged into a computer to shoot a video for RU-vid.
Hi, great video! Thanks so much for taking the time to put this together!! Do you know if there is a remote mic adapter for the H4? Something I could plug into the "2" input that would connect to a remote mic placed elsewhere in the same room? Thanks, keep up the great vids!
I love this, thank you so much. However, one question, if we are plugging two mics into the bottom to record my podcast partner and I, can you do that in Stereo? Manual seems to indicate we need to use MTR. Help?
Thank u for such illustrative talk , but I’m having important question If I’m doing some own songs which mode is best to obtain studio like effects , thnx alot
Quick question. Could I plug this into my Samsung phone to video using it. Plus gain great audio from the recorder so that I could upload the video with great sound?
Amazing. Thanks for making this video. Can this Zoom H4N be used for ASMR videos? or Do I need to connect any external microphone with this ? Thank you
Hello! Thank you for this tutorial. I tried to register an interview with 2 external microphones, using the STEREO mode but when I upload the tracks on Audacity for instance, I only have 1 track. I would like to know how I could get 2 separate tracks. Thank you in advance for your help. Rachel
@@wiillthebarbertv9415 I want to watch your video again how do I find it on the zoom recorder ? Can you send me a link to it ? Thanks Keith Kuhn KK Motion Pictures Only on RU-vid
Best video 🎉I just wish u can explain every single detail and thing im this im new to this and I like to learn I wanna know every thing this lil thing can do lol
this is great. Now I have separate tracks for piano and vocals while recording live! Q: Can the zoom have different monitor levels while recording this setup in MTR mode? I have vocals on 1 and piano on 2. Input levels are fine now but I want the piano to be lower in my monitor and the vocals higher so I can hear myself sing without blasting the piano in my earphones.
Excellent, concise tutorial. It gets right to the point. The only critique I have is that you don't pronounce the "T" in button, and you mention the word button a lot.
