The flimsy sheet should be removed. Draw the stencil onto the other white page. Also, another tip is if you used a stencil applicator like stencil stuff on the skin, apply the stencil and then let it dry for about 20 min, the stencil won't rub off easily.

Thank you for this simple and understandable tutorial! I've found that something that works better for me than deodorant or green soap is...simply lick your skin for the transfer. I know, it sounds weird and unsanitary, but the ink sticks like a mf and after 5-6 handwashes with soap and water, your skin has been washed multiple times and the ink stays sharp and dark. So to tattoo on licked and then washing a few times (more washing than suggested for Covid) makes for a good low infection, long lasting print on the skin. If you don't finish the actual tattoo in one day, you can just rely on the ink staying long enough to continue another day. Peace!

Omg finally I can use mine. I got it from Amazon and thought I maybe had to buy a special printer for it and wasted my money on it... thank u so much I've been struggling to transfer my tattoos on my skin so it makes it much easier for me

Just a heads up the reason there’s two pieces of see-through paper on the other side is so that you can put your drawing in between the 20 Paik pieces of paper that way you can trace over something that you printed out trace over something off your iPad or whatever your picture you have the trays that way to trace is that on to your transfer piece

Dude FINALLY, I’ve been doing this so wrong for months thank you girl!!

I just started messing around myself and got some transfer paper today but about 3 days ago I came up with this idea to put a piece of wax paper on a plain piece of printer paper (spray adhesive), then I put it in my printer and printed on it like a regular piece of paper. The wax paper isn't as porous so the ink will sit on it, press it on yourself like the transfer paper and it works. Note: if anyone decides to do this quick solution, you will think you can use your little creation more than once cuz you can wipe the ink off, but it really only works once. Just like transfer paper.

Totally wrong. This is not the way you use transfer paper. The part she used is protection paper. Your suppose to trace your design directly on the transfer side. That way you can control the design when you move it around.

My kit came yesterday with the transfer paper but I’m not sure how to use it lmao. So hopefully this will help

Only remove the second protective sheet with your artwork on the top of the first sheet press down and trace your artwork the transfer will Appear on the back side of the first sheet No reason to flip your artwork over The reason for the transfer is to have an identical copies

Well im an idiot. The way you're showing is actually backwards!! I did a tattoo on myself and didn't realize then until I started doing one on someone else and realize the stencil I applied on his skin was backwards from the original 😬 thankfully neither tattoo mattered for them to be applied backwards but the yellow paper belongs on bottom, under the ink paper! It's there to protect your surface. So the white paper on top is to trace your drawing... thats the one you rip off.. then you trace that onto the white paper that's between the white paper and ink paper (the removable one)... thats actually the one you use to stencil onto your skin. Just letting anyone know for tattoos that it matters if it's backwards or not. Like for lettering!! No hate.

but i dont understand, when you put the paper the opposite side on the skin, won't be the showing the other side and not the one you draw?

I’ve tattooed almost half of my thigh so far and I have this old stencil paper that I’ve had sitting in my closet for ages because I have no idea how to use it. I just sharpie on my leg and tattoo over it. Maybe I’ll give this way a go and see

You're using the paper upside down. The bottom yellow paper id supposed to be on. You're supposed to draw on the top piece of white paper then the stencil comes on the middle paper.

You are doing this relatively right. It can be done either way. You can flip it and use the white paper. I don't see much of a difference tbh. I think the side you're using, it's much sturdier to use because that paper isn't as flimsy

when you draw the design, does it have to be the yellow paper? or can it just be any paper?

I thought the middle paper is trash. “ the loose sheet” then the yellow sheet goes face down. Then you draw / trace over top the first white sheet and use that to apply the stencil

Remove flimsy sheet from the middle. Discard. Draw design on top white sheet. Ink will transfer to bottom of top sheet. Cut it. Apply stencil stuff or deodorant etc to skin. Put paper down. Tattoo design is now on skin and not backwards. Your video is informative but backwards.

The yellow piece is to not get ink all over the table lol remove the loose clear sheet and put your artwork right on top of everything and then trace it, the stencil will be on the backside of the clear piece, that way you still have your artwork to look at while ur tattooing

Everyone other video I've seen uses the yellow paper on the bottom as a protective sheet. And draws on the master paper. But I guess there's more than one way to skin a cat

Thank you. I was doing it slightly wrong. I left the yellow paper on. And used the bottom paper for the transfer onto the practice skin.

I use a temporary tattoo marker to outline my stencils after applying my tattoo I give it a wash then go back to cleaning and finishing.

This paper is made to use with thermal machines not hand stencil.the one you transfer with hand is different transfer paper.

You should use petroleum jelly to transfer not deodorant, as the deodorant has stuff to eliminate odors and is not supposed to be on a open wound, it may cause a infection.

You should take this video down and make a correct one, this was painful to watch.. and misinforming people non attached white sheet gets discarded immediately with use, yellow sheet is the back.. draw on the top white paper to create the stencil. Whatever you draw will be the stencil, simple as that. no backwards flip flopping shit. Why is this concept so hard for people? It’s basic stencil paper damn
