Website www.tinypandor... Make beautiful pendants with polymer clay, mica powder and resin. My method is fun and goofproof. MagicGlos and UV light are at www.tinypandor...
A nice tip: if your decal isn't in quite the right spot, spray a bit more water onto it. It will slide gently into place and set nicely again once it's dried. 😁
Great video Teresa. Your pieces are beautiful. I love Magic Glos. I bought two big UV lamps on Amazon just to make sure I'm always ready. LOL I love your videos. Thank you for sharing. You are really sweet.
it is a real pleasure to see your videos... I love the way how you treat all these beautiful crafting materials... so inspiring... I love shimmering of Pavelka UV resin and mica lighting power! But the amazing part was when you told us how even Soufflé can shine...with resin! I made a pendant in this way....I love suede finish but... with resin, even Soufflé becomes glossy!!!
+Teresa Pandora Salgado You are most welcome! Ms. Teresa, I am trying to make eyes for polymer clay sculpted dolls. Would you happen to know - if I use the gloss on the eyes (and cure them properly) - can they then be baked with the doll? Or would baking ruin the LP Magic-Glos? Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
The moooooood polish! omg! I was watching and thinking what a nice french nail! wait...weren't those black a sec::gasp:: OMG IT'S THE MOOD POLISH! I WAAANNNNT! lol! awesome tutorial too! pulling my clay out tonight after kiddos crash. :D
Hi Teresa, thank you for this great tutorial. Please can you advise me about curing times under the uv lamp. My pieces will be much the same size as yours. I have heard people say a minute and others like yourself say a much longer time, but I have no idea myself how to use the lamp! Thanks in advance for any help you may give 🙏 😊 xxx
every time I watch your intro where you have the camera at such a high angle I feel compelled to turn around and look behind me to see what you are looking at. hahahaha. It's just a thing, I get so caught up in what you are saying that when I realize I am like...*turn head, what's behind me? oh nothing..hahaha...Love this tutorial
+Teresa Pandora Salgado just me being silly, my daughter says I'm a "scaredy cat" I guess my instinct is to look in case I have to take off running hahahaaaa
Hi Teresa, I´m just getting started with polymer clay for jewelry purposes and I couldnt have found a better youtube channel. Your tutorials are magnificent, they are clear and really fun to watch. I've seen some artists don't give their pieces that glossy look that you manage to achieve so beautifully. If I can't get a hold of LP's one youre using here, which other would you recommend? AND on this video I noticed you didn't bake your piece or did I miss something?? Did you just put it in the UV thingy? Does it work instead of the oven or I just got confused? Thanks a lot for sharing!
Teresa,I love this the whole idea but am confused about the small photos you spritzed with water and the film just slid off the paper. What kind of medium is this am I missing something here .you speak so softly that I can barely hear your voice and or maybe my mind is running to the next project because I get so excited at yet another tidbit of information I might need and I am missing it somehow. So please tell me what this is and how can I come by it.? Thank you for all this wonderful information it is so inspiring.
I’m new to polymer clay and a little confused in that baking info was left out. I saw in the comments about the baking time but need to know if you baked it before adding the mica powder and metal bale?
Brenda Rangel hi! Mica is added before baking. Bails can be glued in but I prefer to make I little slice and insert the nail. Then I bake it in and add a drop of super glue in the area just to be sure.
Teresa, thank you for such a detailed tutorial! I've been wanting to try Magic Glos for a while. Do you recommend getting the large bottle (more economical); if so, do you know if it goes bad with age? In any case, I loved your work. BTW, your lipstick is as fabulous as your nails. Great color!
Fantastic tutorial again you really explain it so well and I love the fact that the transfers can go on baked clay, brilliant. Thank you Teresa. Tracey Jones :-)
Hi Pandora, I'm back. Took a dive down and had to fight my way back. Love watching your videos. I've been making some jewerly with the coiling gizmo . Want to take some of your classes when I get some $$$. The clerk at hobby lobby ordered a pair if earrings from me. Hope her friends want some, will send you a pair when I get more made. Getting back to my polymer. Want to combine it with my coils. You designs are beautiful. As usual.
I'm totally not having any luck with this. Trying pendants with two parts and texture stamp, mine don't want to come apart after stacking and cutting enough to get the bail inserted without messing up the impression and I've not had any luck using this resin.
I was wondering what wattage is your UV light, I recently bought one, it's 48 watts & goes from 10 seconds upto 90, it does not seem to work, on drying my clay, infact I've put the clay pieces in numerous times at 90 seconds each time to no avail, so I hope that you or someone here can tell me if 48 watts is to low, for me it has been, thanks.
NO, the clay was not already baked, I thought that the UV light would do that, I saw a girl doing this on youtube clearly from another country, I think she was from a Thailand.
Melody England ok. You need to bake the clay at 275 degrees for 15 minutes per inch of thickness. Average baking time is 45 minutes. The UV light will not bake the clay.
Thank you for your response, I have 1 more question, I baked some 1/4" sized heart shapes & some round shapes, some puffed up & were no doubt hollow inside, do you have any idea why this happened to my clay?
