I've heard less good things about Exodus (people suddenly seeing empty wallets), and here we are, a friend of mine lost all his ETH this morning. So the sayings are indeed real... Of course no wallet will protect you if you have an infected OS, a simple copying of your private key is enough to get hacked. But he was using Exodus on his iOS device only, and only there... Which is not known to have viruses...Do yourself a favor: Use a fully open soure wallet folks! Pretty doesn't equal secure and trustworthy.
