@DriveTalkCars I just applied two coats over a 24 hour period, the first coat, then 24 hours later the 2nd. It was cooler weather and I used a microfiber applicator. Two sprays initially (less and less as the applicator became loaded with product). I would apply it to 1/4 or 1/2 the panel and before it flashed, buff it off with a plush microfiber. The results were amazing. The gloss and slickness only improved with time. Then 4 hours after the second coat, the gloss and slickness were beyond words. As of this writing, it's been 36 hours since the 2nd coat was applied and MAN!!!! I can't say gloss, reflectivity or slickness enough. Two coats over the paint, glass, headlights, taillights and trim and I used MAYBE 1.5 to 2 ounces of product. Some are saying that $30 is too expensive, but I believe I can get at least 10+ more coats on my car and still not use the whole bottle...that's economical. I've also decided to use this as a drying aid either every week or every 2nd week. The Ceramic Spray Coating lasted over 7 months during a NE Ohio winter, with NO upkeep or maintenance. I'm very curious to see how this compares to the Ceramic Spray.

You can use a lot less product doing the base coat method, 2 sprays on an applicator will do half a bonnet (hood to you guys over the pond) that is why you got high spots mate.

Turtle Wax Graphene Flex is by FAR the best product I've ever used, and I've tried many, many different Carnauba AND so-called " Ceramic" waxes over the years.

After a few trials and errors, the 1 step drying aid method is really the best way to evenly spread the product and produces the best results. Base coat method will often leave high spots and mild hazing around that requires a damp microfiber to remove.

The best way to use this is to wash and dry the car, then a few sprays on the panel and spread it with an applicator. Once it's dried then use a damp microfibre cloth across the panel THEN buff dry with a clean MF cloth. If you try and buff it off without the damp towel wipe you will find it hard to get off, smeary and awkward to get right.

Just want to comment, really enjoyed the video. Not too long, not too short either. I like the techy editing similar to PC parts reviews. Only one tiny suggestion, (more like a request) is show the water beading after applying the product. People seem to love that in wax reviews. I subscribed to help support and hope your channel grows.

I absolutely love this product. It makes my red metallic paint absolutely pop. Tried several others before, looked nice but no wow factor. This stuff gives it that WOW look, and terrific slickness. Yes, its a bit more labor intensive, but its worth it. Im 64 now, and the extra effort is no big deal. I use it once a month on the car immediately after washing, that works the best for me.

To get the most out of this product, would you recommend using the one & done compound first? Then use the liquid wax second? Then use the flex wax?

I would say yes that’s the way to go. The flex wax can be a quick maintenance wax just to keep the shine and wet repellency

I bought this and love it so far. I’ve only done the base coat method on the hood of my black Silverado and holy crap it’s awesome. I didn’t read the directions but apparently it says for the base coat to use a damp microfiber when removing it from the surface. I didn’t do this. I sprayed it on an applicator and did criss cross patterns and buffed off with a dry microfiber. I’ve never had water bead like this in the hundred products I’ve tried over the years. I can’t wait to do the rest of the truck. After seeing you ride done I can’t wait to get it done. Your car is friggin sweet. Thanks for the content and I’m subscribing. 👍🏻

It sure can. That’s how I prefer to do it. However, one thing that I noticed is the wax does build up on your drying towels and you may have to use more than one towel. Also, sometimes the wax smears when drying. Just have to buff it out with clean towel.

Have had this for a short time now. And I have to say you are spraying way too much of the product on each panel. You only need 2 sprays per panel. Then after applying the spray wipe in a circular motion followed by horizontal & then vertical. This helps the graphine to mesh and flex in all directions. As per the name of the product.

great video, however, i have used this product on my obsidian black mercedes. i chose method 1. i washed the car, dried it then applied the flex wax. Caution, it was really difficult to remove, it took ages and ages to polish it off and i was surprised and disappointed. i used 2 sprays per panel and did one panel at a time. i found it even more difficult if you leave it a few minutes. the second time i used it i gave it to the guy at my local car wash, he uses auto glym but i asked him to polish my car after washing it with the flex polish. he told me to never ask him to do it again with the flex. he also found it difficult to remove.

Yeah, it can be hard sometimes. I used too much initially and it was kind of hard. I would definitely do it section by section if doing the dry method. I use the wet method myself. Also, you can’t use the same towel for too long. The wax builds up pretty quickly. Thanks again for checking out video and leaving a comment 🙏🏽

So, basically this is a, "I can't follow the simplest of instructions" proof video. #1 That is NOT how a soap cannon is supposed to be used. #2 Way too much product which makes it not only very difficult to wipe all the excess off but is also a waste of product. @@mryafeay Use two microfiber towels. One for application, one for working it in. You’ll be amazed at the slickness and hydrophobic properties afterwards. By the way, have you ceramic coated your car? I bought the Adam’s Advanced Graphene Ceramic coating and applied it myself, and it’s amazing! Pro detailers charge over $1,000 to do it, but the Adam’s product is like $115 on Amazon. I only used about 30% of the small bottle to do my Prius, and now all I have to do is wash my car, no more waxing! I still hit it with the Flex wax about twice a year, just to give it that slick boost, but other than that, it’s good to go for seven years! If you ever want to do it and you need advice, just ask. I watched a lot of videos online from Pantheorganizer and Adam’s and it was a piece of cake. Took three hours to do my car, then you have to let it sit in a garage for a few days to cure. Also important to do all the prep work ahead of time, but that was all pretty simple as well. Good luck to you!
