Just so people are aware if you try spawning in items like coins or exorbs, you have to fill out the general 1# and 2# correct in order for the game to allow use of them. There's an auto numberer available for items, so that should fix the problems.
For anyone trying to do this in the YW1 Save editor (the one that doesn't have the Auto Number option) Instead of going into an (Unknown) Slot, go into the slot of something that you either don't care about or something you can get again (EX: Any cheap food). Then edit it to be what you want. THEN Apply and Save as. in game it replaces whatever item you picked and uses its General #1 & General #2 values. Note: unsure if this works with bugs/fish. since the game might not count those bugs as 'caught'. more testing is needed.
Does anyone know if the save editor is good enough to get the link/exclusive content from Spirits/Souls in Specters? I'm not very familiar with these games yet but Ive read about yokai exclusives/"dlc" eshop exclusives and the Mystery Way dungeon linking thing but can the editor overcome these? The editors seem kinda wonky/experimental, but I'm wondering if anyone whose used them has accomplished this.
I was wanting to use the save editor for Psychic Specters to get Komasan S, which I would otherwise not be able to. However, I cannot select it as it seems the numbers of the special yo-kai (430 and higher) aren't selectable there. I befriended Komajiro S in hopes of Komasan S being selectable after that but Komajiro S just has an empty name when selecting him in the editor and is displayed as ??? when looking at the overview. Do I have an outdated version of the editor or is there something I am doing wrong?
Whenever I try to open the editors, I'm met with "This application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application." Does anyone know how to fix this?
Question for you, everything applies correctly for me with YKW1, however, the attitude on the Yo Kai I added in for a test have the first attitude listed (ex. Any attitude) but also has the word "and" right after with nothing after it (it should have another word). Do you happen to know what's triggering this? Thank you
Does this register the yokai you get with the editor in the medalium?, for example, if i introduce pandanoko does it appear as registered in the medalium?
Yo, I got a little question. I did everything correctly and it also workes fine, but whenever I enter (for example) a store and then try to leave, the game just freezes. I literally do not know how to fix that. I tried a lot of different things but nothing worked. Can anyone help?
when you say it randomizes your party, do you mean it swaps medals from your party and medalian at random or does it just completely give you a random team and then the members that were in it before are just gone? actually i tried it with a backup and basically all of my yokai's stats were randomized.. so yeah i'm uh.. unfortunately not gonna get to keep my pandanoko
I do the guide perfectly for YKW2, and it all works, but when i load the game nothing saved from the editing, no errors or anything. Could this be because im on steam deck, or am i doing something wrong?
So I added in some key items in YKW2 on accident that I didn't mean to, but now I can't manually get rid of them and I don't have a save file I can revert to. Is there a way to hex edit them out of my inventory or something?
I have a question, if you use the editor for yokai watch 2 psychic specters, can you completely avoid needing to link the games for stuff like mystery way by just adding in the necessary keys?
@@ninmods402 Actually, I've been using Yokai Editor 2, and key items can be hacked in, so it's really just a question of if talking to the guy who gives you the keys is a check required to get in
Hello, sorry for asking this but I added kyubi and venoct as editors to get Pofessor as citra, but I can't get Pofessor even if I fill up all 8 yokai. Why is this? I think the sentence will be a little awkward because I used a translator. I'm sorry.
The medallium also has kyubi and venoct registered, and the Legendary Yokai page also has a light on it. but If I click the A button, I'll get a message that comes up when you haven't collected all the yokai. So is there a way to fix this?

for yo kai watch 2 psychic specters i have loaded in all the shack keys and keys that you get from linking but it still wont let me into the shack and mystery way, any suggestions?
those items are typically just for show, the keys themselves aren't actual keys but rather getting the keys signals flags in the code to allow you to now access the areas the "key" would unlock
Items work fine but adding yokai is super bugged for me, never really works. Good thing I back up my saves because I loose yokai whenever i try to add some.

If u backed up your save file then yes, but since u need to get the dlc somehow in order to get the dlc yo kai you can't cheat them in without the dlc if I recall correctly.
Could I exchange yokai from PC to 2DS via the exchanging medals of yokai watch 2? Could I get from save editor yokai like machonyan or Robonyan F, Orcanos or Jibanyan S?

@@ninmods402 I figured it out I had the little button on the sd card slided up so I couldn’t edit it. Works like a charm as long as I don’t edit any yokai

@@ninmods402 Thanks, I found it! Does this new editor still have the issue where it randomises your team? If so, does that mean it randomises the Yo-kai in your party with ones already in your medallium? It doesn't delete/remove any of your Yo-kai or anything like that?
Hey, Im playing on mac through cirta and the save editor isnt working properly, I have done every step in the video for each item i would like to add in but when I open the save file in Citra, none of the changes I've made have gone through. I even reopened the save editor and save file to see if the changes I've made are still there and the changes are made, they simply haven't been implemented into the save file despite replacing the original file with the edited one. I think it might be because I'm using CrossOver to open the save editor as it's an exe file and Macbooks can't open exe files. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this, I've asked the provider of the save editor and even they are unsure of the problem.
I add yo kai in yo kai editor 1 and change levels and add more yo kai that I want to gewt in Yo Kai Watch 1 game citra emulator. But once I click file button and click save as and turn off Yo Kai editor and open citra and launch the Yo Kai Watch The Yo Kai medal that I added in yo kai editor 1 didn't changed.... how do I do it..
@@ninmods402 oh and one more I added special coin, five-star coin, and yellow coin in items. And I clicked apply and save as in save data file. But when I launch the citra Yo Kai Watch 1 there is no coins that I added in editor. How can I do? there is no auto numbering in editor 1. Do I need to added more Yo Kai then save as again and coins would be there when I launch the Yo Kai Watch in Citra?
@@ninmods402 It says The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP120.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem. I tried to fix it and nothing is working.
